How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe guest house is located in the upper part of Imlil, on the path to Toubkal. When you arrive in the village, call Mr. Abdou there is a parking quite close to the riad, don't need to walk from Imlil. We've got some great moments with the owner's family. The tajine at the dinner and the breakfast served on the tarrace with the direct view to the Toubkal were also superb. Highly recommended!

Verified reviewWelcoming staff, beautiful location overlooking the mountains, and comfortable rooms. Shower downstairs was hot and the breakfast was fantastic. Would absolutely stay again!
Our bedroom was next to a common space where some people were loudly talking later into the evening but after we spoke with them it was peaceful and quiet.

Verified reviewThe location is as wonderful as the view, the host was very kind and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious! It's a great spot to stay we did a lovely family hike and were enchanted by the beauty of Imlil
the room was "advertised" as 50 m²... in fact, I think it would be more like 10 m².(I should have looked better at the picture).. so not the best expectation management is not great but in the end, it didn't matter too much as we had exceptional weather and spent most our time outdoors!

Verified reviewDar Amadine is run by a lovely family that is always there to help you. The father is a tour guide and knows every small corner of the Atlas Mountains and also of Morocco in general. We got sick and that gave us a very hard time although the family was there, looked after us, and even went to the pharmecy to get medication for us. It was an amazing experience and we are greatly thankful for them.

Verified reviewI stayed at Dar Amadine for three days and four nights. Everything was exceptional. The rooms were very clean and the bed cozy and comfortable, and the mountain views from the terrace were breath-taking. To top it off, you can hear the nearby stream running day and night - for me this was very comforting and meditative. This was the perfect retreat for those wanting a low-key stay immersed in nature with easy access to stellar trekking. What left this trip with the most lasting impressing was Abdou and his family. They went out of their way to make me feel at home; they were so kind and hospitable. I look forward to returning again one day soon.

Verified reviewNice place to stay in Imlil. You have to walk around 10 minutes up the Hill to the apartment. It's not possible to go there by car. But the host picks you up in the town. Nice view from the rooftop.
WiFi could have been better. So in case you have to do something/work on the computer, make sure you have enough Data volume for a Hotspot.

Signage to property non existent even consulting locals was of no help. No parking and access difficult should you not be physically able.

Verified reviewVery kind and helpful host, nice dinner and breakfast, rooms very clean and neat, we could heat the room during a cold November night, awesome views from the terrace and in general a great stay.
Rooms and bathrooms are quite small, but not a big issue and totally understandable in this mountainous area, value for money was definitely good.
