Lovely staff, really good food, comfortable stay. They really make you feel at home. Just keep in mind it’s in the old medina so you cannot reach it directly with a taxi - you’ll have to walk at least 5 minutes on foot and the medina is enormous !!! However, there are red ‘palais fes’ arrows you can follow!

The room was beautiful and Clean. The breakfast and the food were really good. We did also a cooking class with the mum (chef of the restaurant): really nice and beatiful experience

Thank you to the brother for his wonderful welcome. A super beautiful and very well-located riad. A very good breakfast with more than perfect rooms. We ate on the terrace; it was the best meal in Morocco. You can visit this riad with your eyes closed.

My experience was excellent first the hospitality was very good with minty and the Moroccan pastry after he gave me a very good room very clean for a good value of money I tried the dinner in the terrace and it was one of the best food in Morocco

The room was beautifully decorated and super clean, the staff very helpful and happy to share about their history and family. The food was delicious, the riads gorgeous!

The area can be a little sketchy at night so be aware that it’s not located directly in the center and main streets on Fes. But nothing bad!

They’re super nice family who are running the it together! The building was a 1350s one but very well maintained! The decoration is fantastic and their food are super too! Highly recommended!

Dar Authentic Fes is the little cousin of Restaurant Palais Fes Yahya a neat nearby Restaurant-Hotel with beautiful interior design and architecture. Both facilities are run by the members of a local family and the dinners are cooked by the mom. Therefore the hospitality is excellent with very friendly vibes. Everyone in the stuff is ready to cover every need. The Tanjeen we ate here was THE BEST in the whole country and I'm not exaggerating. The room was big enough and comfortable, however it was in the ground floor and the smell wasn't very good. The location is inside the Medina just a few minutes walk from all the action but the establishment is hidden in an dark corner and for some that might be a bit claustrophobic. Overall, a good experience, and a very helpful staff. The boys do everything and always with a smile on their chin. 🙂

We had an absolutely unique stay! The room was super clean, beautifully furnished, well located and with a fantastic terrace. But what made our stay so unique were the hosts - they were so warm hearted and welcoming. Our stay was unforgettable thanks to Hamza, Jad and Abdul. We can also highly recommend the tours through and around the medina recommended by the hosts as well as the hammam treatment. We will never forget our stay and the hospitality. Thank you for everything!

All the brothers helped us book taxis, trips and gave us tips during our stay, they were really nice. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. We felt like home thanks to Abdul, Jad and the whole family :)

A wonderful property in Fes run by a local family. Truly authentic. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make your stay comfortable. Lovely simple breakfast - highly recommended for your stay in the Fes Medina

Very beautiful and clean. Amazing rooftop. The staff was super attentive and caring. It’s a family business and they all make sure you want to return again. If you need anything just ask and they will definitely help you. We had dinner and breakfast and definitely recommend the chicken with lemon and olives

We were accommodated in the adjoining property which was excellent and very beautifully adorned with art and decor. It had a rooftop restaurant and the food was excellent. The room had excellent facilities and the shower had excellent hot water.

We use very good experience for me. I have a very good time. The room was very clean and the bathroom. Also, we're very authentic hoyse, the breakfast was very delicious and also I had a dinner and was one of the best foods I eat in morocco

Very kind staff and overall a good experience, especially given the very good prices they offer. A bit annoying they only accept cash though. But the whole family was very hospitable, helpful and available, also helping us arrange guided tours.

The location of the Riad is not in the best zone I must say, and the streets to get there can get quite scary when the sun sets. But that is the case for many places in the Medina. Then small details which are not intended to be a critique but rather an invitation to further improve: some extra toilet paper would be good, as well as a small rubbish bin in the room. The last night I could not sleep at all since there was a dog barking for 5 hours straight with no breaks (no exaggeration) and you can hear everything from the window
