We stayed there only a night, arriving late and leaving early, but we were really impressed by the design of the building. It was renovated using traditional techniques but adding a contemporary twist. The rooms and common spaces were very spacious, and the building had an amazing rooftop terrace with picturesque views towards the other villages and mountains. The room was comfortable and we could rest very well there. The hosts were sweet and gentle. The breakfast was really generous; I think we could eat only a quarter of it. I highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay away from the tourist madness.

We only stayed one night on our way to Marrakesh, cause we wanted to check out Ait-Ben-Haddou, which was beautiful but in the end we enjoyed the area around Dar Bilal way more. Our evening walk through the gardens around was incredibly calming and beautiful, the little village is really charming. The whole family is welcoming the guests in a very warm way and really looking for everyone to enjoy the stay. Also the food is really good and the view from the rooftop spectacular! The price is more than fair.

The host is super, very friendly. Authentic, self-made house impressive. We also had a very nice walk in the oasis and agricultural area and the river side. Very much recommanded.

The shower had only cold water, we were there on very cloudy days. Perhaps sunboilers could not work well.

This place really charmed me. The people, the environment, the surroundings....Mohamend the owner is a man you don't just meet. He has a huge heart and he's very, very nice. He welcomed us with tea and peanuts.... The food, the accommodation, absolutely perfect. I will definitely want to come back!

Incredible decoration. The food was amazing. Mohammed gave us a really nice 3 course dinner for a very good price, and a plentiful breakfast the following morning. The room was comfortable, with good pillows, covers and AC/HC. Thought is 10 minute drive from Ait Benhaddou, the value is worth it if you want to say close to the Ksar. It is in a very small village, but there are signals to help you get there from the road.

Stunning place, lots of places to relax. Incredible views from the terrace. Rooms are practical & comfortable. Lovely breakfast The staff are very welcoming & sweet They offer dinner upon request & athough we didnt use this option I wish we had because the restaurants in the main town near Ait Ben haddou leave much to be desired

Located in a stunning setting, in a very small village of its own - primarily residential although there are a couple of places to stay or to eat. Unfortunately when we tried to have a wander round in the daytime we were stopped/ followed/ harassed by a number of different local men. We felt unwelcome & that perhaps we were intruding in a very local area so we quickly turned back

Dar Bilal's owner is warm and friendly! He always welcomed us with mint tea, nuts and sweets. The accommodation is arranged with attention to detail. Breakfast is very tasty and plentiful. The lady-chef cooks deliciously, I recommend trying the dinner there! Everything perfect!

This was one of the most fantastic stay we have done in Morroco. The house is simpliy fantastic, made by the owner with great taste. The location is perfect, with a magnificent view from the upstairs terrace. We felt part of the family. Evening diners served by the family were amongst the best we had in Morroco. I would come back with my eyes closed and stay much longer!

    - The place is very quiet and the terrace has a very nice view - Mohamed is very friendly. He always asked if we wanted some dates, tea or cheese when we got there in the evening. - The room and the whole dar is very cozy - We could wash our clothes there - The room has a strong AC (we used it for heating in january) - You can order dinner for 100 dhms which consists of a starter a main course and a small desert which is prepared with great care and is very good

    - the room is a bit dark

They are very kind and helpful people. Riad is very calm, clean and have beautiful views from the rooftop. Very good food. We enjoyed our short stay here.

We've visited road during winter, and we didn't have enough blankets to stay warm during night, I woke up around 4am because it was cold and there was nothing else to cover.

This Riad is remote with no shops close by. It has a few bedrooms that are basic & quite small with small en-suite. It is old but quite clean. The family who run this accommodation are very nice. We had dinner there which was one of the best tagines we had in Morrocco.

There were dogs barking most of the night. I am a light sleeper, so this disturbed my sleep significantly. I suggest this needs to be looked at by the owner.

A clean, charming and beautifully furnished place with a personal touch in the decor. The house is located in a quiet hamlet with gorgeous countryside around. Staff were super— genuinely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and dinners. Tea is provided with a wonderful array of nuts and local pastries.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean, though rather small and basic. No easy access to public transport.
