The room was located in the first floor of the Riad and was very dark without no natural light. The breakfast was average.

The riad provides the epitome of the Moroccan traditional experience. The decor is nicley chosen and exceptionally beautiful. The room was clean and well prepared for our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and delightful to talk to especially Yassine and Mohammed.

Beautiful riad a few minute away from the blue gate. Staff was friendly and smiley. We were organised a guided tour of the city with a competent local guide. Generous and delicious breakfast served on the rooftop with stunning view on the old town.

Terrific. Very well located in a quiet bit of the medina. Central courtyard is stunning and rooms are richly decorated and well equipped. Rooftop breakfasts were exactly what we needed. But the very best part is the staff -- the manager Yacin was beyond helpful: patient, informative, responsive, anticipating needs and going out of his way to make sure we enjoyed everything about our time in Fez. When (not "if") we return, we would not consider staying anywhere else.

Dar Borj is a beautiful and well decorated riad. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The rooftop terrace has an amazing view over Fes and the breakfast served there was plentiful and delicious. We had a warm welcome with tea and the friendly owner gave us a lot of information about the city and answered all our additional questions. The riad is very well located, right next to the entrance of the medina. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in the riad and in Fes!

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Dar Borj. Yassine gave us a warm welcome, showed us a map of the city, and treated us to mint tea and cookies upon arrival. The riad is beautiful, with charming rooms and an incredible rooftop terrace where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

This the best riad we stayed while our Morocco trip!! We started from Marrakesh, Fes (different riad) , Chefchaouen, Fes (here) and Casablanca, toral 5 accommodations we stayed and Dar Borj was we loved the most. Location was close from bule gate so easy to walk around old media and we could take a rest when we tried to explore. Ring a bell to enter the riad, always staff opened the door (they seemed to check security cams before open) and welcomed us so felt very safe. The building is high so it was expansive space inside. Welcome mint tea was very nice and made us warm for both heart and body after walk in rainy town when we check in. One of staff Yassine attended our check in with all kindness, clear explanation about riad and old medina in fluent English. He gave us valuable advise of how to enjoy old medina. We enjoyed check in time so much! The room was just like what we saw on website. We chose family sweet room this time and it was very gorgeous stay for 2 of us. Beds are comfortable and air conditioning works well so didn't feel cold on February night. Bathroom is well organized, quality of towels are nice, enough roll papers during our stay. We could use hot water and shower water pressure was OK. The green wall was cute. There was many mirrors in bed rooms and bathroom. Wifi was good connection. Roof terrace was great so we enjoyed all views of morning, sunset and night. We enjoyed Moroccan style break fast at the terrace room with full of great manus. Very delicious and amazed it is included into the room charge. All spaces including robby, room and terrace are very clean, classic and lovey. Satisfied with everything during our stay. Yassine and other staff are always friendly and polite. Here was our safe sweet home in Fes! Thank you so much for making our stay wonderful and amazing!! We strongly recommend you to choose here for Fes stay!

We managed the stairs to the top fine, but it may be a concern for some people. It might be good to let people know in your information that there is a bit of a climb.

Yassin and Mohammed were so helpful and accommodating from beginning to end. We are very happy that they sent a message to suggest arranging sending a driver to the train station. As we arrived at night, we were a bit nervous and it was wonderful to have the driver be there for us, then Mohammed there to guide us to the riad. Our stay was extra special because of them. The location was excellent! We loved the delicious breakfast on the rooftop terrace.

Staff is friendly and very helpful. The Riad is extremely well located, inside the markets of the old city. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast is delicious and rich. There are two parkings nearby (not expensive) and the staff helps you find a place and covers the luggage transfer between the Riad and the car. Thank you for the wonderful stay !

The room and whole Raid was beautifully decorated and opulent. The upstairs dining area gives spectacular views all over the Medina. Perfect location, out of the way, but a few minutes walk to the blue gate.
