How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewA warm welcome from Moustafa and his family really helped as we arrived quite late at night into the madness of the medina. The Riad is in a great location and is stylishly designed in true Moroccan decor. Breakfast was lovely each day with reams of mint tea. Abdul was super helpful and Mouss gave sound advice on navigation, safety and good restaurants. We will return again to Dada Mouss!!
Nothing all good

Verified reviewBreakfast was provided every day, with a choice of mint tea or coffee. The food was delightful - a traditional Moroccan breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped with getting a sense of the layout of the Medina and what sites are around the city to see. You can come and go as you please. There is a rooftop to hang out. We often ate breakfast with other guests at the top. Overall we were very happy with our stay at Dada Mouss.
I had to wear earplugs in order to get a good sleep - the doors don't isolate noise from the communal areas. Other guests were respectful, but what little noise they did make still travelled. The morning call to prayer is very early, and the ear plugs were needed to be able to sleep through that. The drainage in the shower area was not great in our room, but it wasn't a huge problem.

Verified reviewIt felt very traditional and was decorated really nicely. Breakfast was enjoyable and the roof top was nicely laid out. The staff working there were really helpful and kind.
Privacy was an issue - everything could be heard from our bedroom as it was in the main entrance area. I could also hear other people in their rooms - even when they were using the bathroom! This often woke us up in the middle of the night. The rooms are windowless which means there is no natural light. Issues with the drainage means there is usually a strong sulphur/sewage smell. The area where the Riad is located is very busy- not for the faint of heart!

Verified reviewThe staff was very nice and the location was very good in a quiet part of the Medina but not far from the main attractions. The rooftop was very nice to relax after a day of strolling through the Medina.
Our room didn’t have a real window, but that’s quite common in the traditional houses. Also it smelled a bit like sewage in the bathroom. The staff is aware of that and gave us some tips to reduce the smell, but it’s an old home. It didn’t bother us because we didn’t spend much time in the room, but maybe good to be aware.

Verified reviewWe stayed 10 days at Dada Mouss and every time we returned to the riad, it felt like coming home. Mustafa,Abdul and Aisha were absolutely wonderful, always making sure that we had everything we needed. Everything was extremely comfortable and of good quality and we were delighted by the rich traditional fittings. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely riad to anyone planning a trip to Marrakech.

Verified reviewWe were welcomed with mint tea and biscuits on arrival. We shared this tea with the owner, Mousstafa who explained the layout of the city using a very helpful map. This made navigating the city so easy. Mousstafa and Abdul were lovely and we felt welcomed and treated like family. The room was spotlessly clean. Air conditioning worked well, hot water was great and the wifi was high speed. The bed was comfortable too. Abdul prepared a lovely breakfast for us each morning. The Riad is very centrally located only a 10 mins walk away from every main point in Marrakech. This made exploring the city so much fun. Definitely stay here in Marrakech, you'll have a lovely time and be welcomed like family.

Verified reviewI really liked my stay in this hotel. It's the very tipical traditional Riad that you may find in all the old Madina of Marrakech. I visited the city several times but this is the first time I book this kind of structure. And i will do it surely again being that the stay was amazing. I arrived very late at the airport and a person from the Riad came to pick me up at the airport (you will need to pay for this service obviously) once arrived even if tired , i was welcomed with Tea , buscuits and fruit i found this really beautiful and i wil never thank enough Mr. Abdelouhab for the friendly support and welcome at the Riad. The room was beautiful and finely decored with traditional decor from Morocco. The Private bathroom was ok. Concerning the breakfast , it was really good in the terrace where there's a small swimming pool to relax in the hot days. Everything is at walking distance , and by walking in the streets you will really enjoy the atmosphere and the many colors of the traditional shops. The Riad is a bit difficult to find the first time due to the narrowed streets but then you will get used to it. All was pefect will be back again.
Being the hotel a riad and located in small narrowed streets, sunlight doesn't arrive easily to some rooms and it's dark even during the day. But in the common areas ( living rooms, terrace) is very sunny instead. Sometimes little odours comes from the Bathroom but is not so bothering in general.

Verified reviewAbdoul was a great host, there was airconditioning, the terrace is pretty and we also really liked the breakfast in the morning.
The room was a little small, but for us it was fine. When you arrive in Marrakech, especially if it’s your first time, please call someone from the riad. It’s easy to find if you know where to look, but google maps is not accurate and Marrakech is a very chaotic city. We walked around for an hour before calling Moustafa. After calling we found it in less then 5 minutes.

Verified reviewThe room was very authentic and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful and the initial greeting was great. The shower facilities were excellent. The location was great for getting to most places.
We told the hotel about a nut allergy in advance, but were served peanuts and oil for breakfast; when I raised this with the owner he just asked what we wanted for breakfast tomorrow instead. The listing says airport transport is included, but it actually cost us €16. We were also not billed everything at one, and were asked to pay city tax in cash at the end — a night when we had no cash left.

Verified reviewAmazing reception by the Riad owner. Even though it was very late he welcomed us with tea, informed us of places to see with a printed map and got us a SIM card so we can walk around with access to the internet. Breakfast was amazing, very traditional. I highly recommend, I will go back if again in Marrakesh.
