Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceNot much to complain about. Don’t leave any food out in the room because of the ants.
A beautiful Riad with exceptionally kind staff—especially Amine, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He gave us plenty of great recommendations and was always available to help with anything we needed. We felt truly welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. Highly recommend 100%!

United KingdomThe riad is a beautiful and tranquil place, which offers a retreat from the (wonderful!) chaos that is the Medina outside. We especially loved spending time relaxing in the sun on the roof terrace, and the delicious, generous and varied breakfasts in the mornings. With this included in the price, we thought Dar Dallah was excellent value for money. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating - we especially enjoyed chatting with Amin! Thank you so much for your hospitality :-)

SlovakiaVery tastefully decorated Riad, excellent breakfast in the garden on the roof, there is absolute silence in combination with mega busy streets, it's perfect. Quality beds, warm duvets. Clean. And especially the family and the hosts Mr. Amin and Mr. Monaim are helpful, they will arrange anything, call a taxi, print boarding passes, thank you!!

United StatesOur room wasn’t the best layout for us. The shower yet very cool/ didn’t have a curtain or separate room/ it was just part of the bedroom/ so that could be an obstacle if traveling with friends, and the ‘private’ bathroom isn’t private, but outside the room in the common area. I also was under the impression there was air conditioning but there was not. It was still a lovely stay and I would definitely be back.
I loved how secluded and quiet it was. The decorations reflected the history of the building and it was really comfortable and calm. The staff was so accommodating and kind. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace with the birds was a great wake up.

Riad Dar Dallah isn't just a place to stay, it's an experience. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of a stylish artistic riad, its calm and tranquil atmosphere, a perfect green oasis from the summer heat. The walls are adorned with art, its ambience whispering stories. Sir Patrick, the host, is kind and hospitable, not only does he ensure your comfort, but also acts as your personal art curator, bringing the museum/ riad to life with tales of his carpet collection. Thank you for welcome me! As a solo female traveler, I never felt a moment's unease. The neighborhood is a haven of peace and safety, yet perfectly situated close to all must-see destinations. The staff's kindness and dedication are the final touches on this masterpiece. 10/10, without a doubt.

GermanyWe loved everything about the property- especially the most welcoming hosts mr. amin, mr. monaim and mrs. Habib. they took the best care of us and were always super helpful and kind to us. They recommended us things to do, printed our boarding passes, organized taxis/ shuttles. We booked the shuttle offered by the riad (150dh one way) and as we arrived in the middle of the night, mr. amin picked us up by foot at the point nearest to the Riad and helped us with our luggage. As the Riad is in the center of Medina it’s not directly reachable by car. There are pick-up spots 5-6 minutes by foot away. The Riad itself is beautifully designed and also used as a carpet museum. You can find a lot of handmade morrocan carpets in all of the rooms and in the foyer/terrace. The breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace every morning. You get freshly squeezed orange juice, morrocan mint tea, selfmade yoghurt, eggs, morrocan pastries, fresh fruit. As the Riad is the center of the Medina a lot of things are reachable by foot. 10 Min to the Jemaa-El-Fna square, 5 Min to a lot of souks, 10 Min to Ben Youssef Medrasa, ~20 Min to Bahia Palace & El Badi Palace. A lot of nice Restaurants are also nearby. We will come back for sure and recommend this Riad by heart to everyone thinking about visiting Marrakech and staying in the Medina!

United KingdomEverybody was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. You expect this to a degree from any hotel, but the people at Dar Dallah genuinely gave us the warmest welcome we have ever had. Every time we came back, they seemed happy to see us and instantly offered to make us tea - even when we came back late after dinner. They helped us organise taxis and restaurants and gave tips on things to do and see. They organised a taxi to pick us up from the airport and back and each time accompanied us to the taxi. The Riad is in the Medina and there are no cars and it is a bit of a maze when it is your first time. It is also very busy with people, mules, bicycles and mopeds! So having somebody navigate this with luggage was super helpful. Finally, the Riad is in the medina, so you can walk everywhere and visit most of the museums and sights. There are also some great restaurants just 5 minutes away. We honestly had such a lovely time, I highly recommend you consider staying here if you're visiting Marrakech and want to stay in the Medina.

United KingdomNo toilet in the bathroom (I rented a room on the ground level, a shared toilet was available on the same level). In the bathroom, the shower and the tap were stylish but not working well (water sprayed in all directions in a thin stream).
A lovely Riad, filled with art, refurbished with a great attention to detail by a colourful French owner.

United KingdomMy wife and I stayed at this property for 4 nights. A beautiful riad (and a museum as well!) in a very convenient location in the medina. Very comfortable bed, wholesome breakfast, lovely terrace and overall decent facilities. The owner, Mr. Patrick and the staff members (Mr. Mounim, Mr. Amin and Ms. Habiba) were very warm and courteous. They really took good care of us including letting us keep our bags after checking out, arranging packed breakfast very early in the morning when requested and helping out with cab books. Thoroughly enjoyed our at Riad Dar Dallah. Thank you!

CroatiaI would just like to note that cheaper rooms don't include toilets. I didn't understand that part when booking because they have bathrooms but without toilets. My friends had a problem with some guys who "wanted to help" with suitcases. They followed them and asked for money, which is quite normal in Marrakech but worthy of note.
The guys who welcomed us were really wonderful people. They organized a taxi for my mum and picked her up at the point where the car couldn't get through the streets. The souk is close by and the main square is just 10-15 min walk. Breakfast was really lovely and the roof terrace is fantastic! Also, it is really tastefully decorated which is always a plus!
