You must walk from the taxi drop off point to the hotel, because cars can't go down the narrow alley where the hotel is situated

I've been to this hotel many times and uts always a joy to stay here. The staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable.

Everything! The staff were amazing and so friendly. The riad was so calm and beautiful, a lovely hideaway from the chaos of Marrakech. We were treated with plenty of hospitality and felt like family.

    N/A

It is a hidden gem in the middle of The Medina. The staff works very hard to exceeds expectations and the food is absolutely unbelievable. They also do a great job coordinating the airport transfer back and forth and the one day tours for you and your family. I highly recommend the cooking class, the hot ballon, and the Agafay desert trip

    Comfort in the Medina.

This small, boutique, hotel is in the Medina of Marrakesh. It seems to be, essentially, two homes amalgamated into one but parts of it look very old indeed and presumably is at it has been much altered over the years. Our room looked out onto a courtyard patio and small ornamental pool. The rooftop has a dining area and kitchen also there is a small swimming pool. This was ideal for breakfast. The hotel arranged a car to meet us at the airport which was most helpful. The car was able to take us to the edge of the Medina where a young man with a barrow took our luggage for the rest of the journey, into narrow streets.Tthe hotel doorway is easy to miss, set into an otherwise blank wall, a short corridor and some steps go down to the hotel reception area. The staff are all very helpful, Hashim, two Mohammed's, and Maria who with helpers, and by arrangement cooked two very good meals for us. We had a dinner on arrival and also lunch on the afternoon of our departure. Breakfast by the room, or better still on the rooftop. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi which would come and pick up close to the entrance. Taxis for a return journey were reluctant to go all the way to the door because of the narrowness of the streets. The situation is ideal, walking distance to the Medrasa Ben Youssef and not far on the Souk. Meals in the hotel can be taken by arrangement but there were good restaurants very close indeed.

However, there were some hiccup when it comes to communication with the hotel. The airport pickup was arranged and confirmed in advance with emails. But no show at the airport and staff was not aware of the situation when we arrived. On the day of our departure, the staff confirmed she would help get some questions answered with our next hotel and got back to me through email. That didn't happen either. Although the suite we stayed was spacious and lovely with unique architectural details, the bathroom had sewer odor. I guess that might be to do with the old structure.

We stayed at the red suite, which is very photogenic. We feel we've take back into a different era in time.

The property has its own charm and character, which differs from other Dar or Riad in Marrakesh visited so far, the staff is well trained, we found the beds extremely hard and a persistent smell of burned wood which was not very pleasant, breakfast is average Marrakesh style we expected something more.

There were a lot of stairs and no elevator. Location does not allow for taxi drop off. Hotel sent a car for our airport pickup and carted our bags to the front door.

    Beautiful, architecturally detailed old home

The home is so large, magnificently decorated, and old that it feels somewhat cold. While it is not a big problem and a part of the charm of the place, I would not want to stay for more than one or two nights as the accommodations (while lovely) did not feel like a homey, welcoming space. This is not meant as a criticism of the Riad itself, to be clear, just as a note on atmosphere. If you're looking for the warm, homey feeling that many riads have, this one isn't that. If you're looking for a beautiful, architecturally detailed, large old mansion to serve as a backdrop for your Marrakech trip, I highly recommend booking here.

Great location and a very neat, old home. It was extremely peaceful and quiet, and the staff were kind, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the dinner we ate here on one night of our stay was also quite good.

    Nothing to note.

Superb Dar with amazing rooms/suites and super friendly staff. My husband, 9 year old daughter and I booked this very last minute for our last few nights in Morocco and stayed in the blue/grey two bedroom suite. The location is great - very central but amazingly quiet and tranquil once you’re inside or even on the roof terrace. We stayed in July so we’re so grateful for the aircon in the rooms! The staff were amazing - very accommodating and keen to help. We definitely recommend this place.

This accomodation is pure perfection <3 We had a pleasure to stay here couple of days and nights. Riad is so beautiful! Staff is professional, nice and helpful, whatever you need. I cannot remember all the names, but my sincere thanks to all Dar Darma crew for making our stay so exceptional :) We enjoyed also very tasteful dinner in the rooftop and relaxed by the pool and had some sun bathing. You just cannot believe how peaceful it can be inside old buzzling medina. I hope I’ll come back soon!
