Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

QatarWe had a wonderful stay at Dar El Kébira. The location is excellent — right in the heart of the medina but still very peaceful and easy to access. It's the perfect base for exploring the magic of Rabat’s old city on foot. The riad itself is beautifully decorated and very clean, with an elegant traditional design that creates a warm and authentic atmosphere. The staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help — we truly appreciated their attentiveness and warm hospitality. While the room and bathroom were a little on the smaller side, they were well-maintained and comfortable enough for a short stay. Everything was spotless, and the amenities provided were thoughtful. Overall, Dar El Kébira is a lovely place to stay with top-notch service and a perfect location.

United StatesNothing :-)
The stay at Dar El Kebira was a great experience. It is very well located close to the Kasbah of the Udayas. Staff was very nice and helpful. We had an excellent light dinner there the first night (vegetable tajine and for dessert oranges with cinnamon). Breakfast were delicious and very generous. Thanks for the kindness of Hamid that made our two days stay even more pleasant. For the second night we went to another good restaurant Dinarjat,

SwitzerlandA little tricky to find in the maze of alleys until you get oriented but on our first day someone came out to the main road to get us.
Well located near the Harbour and Medina with very helpful and freindly staff. Sumptuous Breakfast and the staff were very helpful catering for Vegetarians and others with dietary restrictions.

United KingdomSome internal building works going on , and we booked a suite for two nights, when we arrived, the suite wasn’t available due to the building work so we were offed a double room , which was below the Hamman and seemed damp and had a chlorine type of smell ( we were given a breakfast free on arrival as a jesture because our room wasn’t ready …… we had two half bottles of wine which they charged us for ….. l think we should have been given those free as the rate difference between the double and the suite was more than the free breakfast…….. only a small quibble but you asked the question.…… noisy outside
Location & restaurant , good breakfast .

GermanyYou need to walk with your luggage about 300 m from the main road to the Riad on uneven small street. On way back you get assistance but on way to you have to make it on your own :-)
Typical Riad in the old town / part of Rabat. Nice roof top terrace and helpful staff

United KingdomBreakfast was little unexciting compared to what we had become accustomed to at the same level in Morocco
I felt that compared to other places we stayed in Morocco, breakfast was a bit lacklustre.

United StatesThere was a private party in our riad the first night with many guests and live music... fun but a bit loud. When we returned to our room, the organizers were like "who are you?", they did not seem to realize this was hotel too :)
Friendly and helpful staff, beautifully decorated rooms in a stunning riad, nice location in the Old Medina of Rabat. Decent breakfast on the rooftop.

MoroccoMy stay at Riad Dar El Kébira in Rabat was outstanding. The riad's blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern comforts created a serene and luxurious atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making my experience even more enjoyable. The beautifully decorated rooms were clean and comfortable, equipped with all necessary amenities. The highlight was the exquisite breakfast on the rooftop terrace, offering breathtaking views of the medina and delicious Moroccan pastries. Located in the heart of the medina, the riad provided easy access to Rabat's main attractions. Overall, Riad Dar El Kébira offered an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rabat.

IrelandIt was as I had expected, no complaints.
Fantastic location, a 5 minute walk to the small markets around the area. You must remember this is a historic building and with that come positives and negatives of that. It is perfect to step back in time and experience a stay in a Riad, it is not a Hilton. Staff exceptionally helpful and if you phone ahead they will meet you at the main road with a trolley for the baggage. You can not drive to the door of the hotel, it is up narrow pedestrian streets.
