The hotel is typical marockan with a rustic touch on it. We got a nice family room on the top floor with 2 balconies overlooking the pool and the mountains. The kids enjoyed the pool during the days (it was a bit cold but nice). It’s located a bit up on the hill but very central and close to all shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

It’s a bit old and need a bit of maintenance. I would rate it as a week 3 star. Chairs were broken at the pool area etc.

Very nice staff. Upgraded us to an even nicer room, and didn't make a big deal of it!

Photos don’t do it justice. The pool area is so pretty and they give you huge green towels. Chill out area above in the shade, room nice, especially bathroom. Good central location.

Couldn’t get the air con to work.

The hotel was fabulous rugs and cushions everywhere, beautiful views from terraces. Food was delicious and staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Sad to leave.

Our socks were knocked off by the beautiful location. The views from our two room balconies was breathtaking. Our comfy room was heated. The dinner was fantastic. The staff were kind and carried our bags up many steps despite the fact that it was Ramadan and they must have been exhausted. Five stars,

Dar Imlil was a great start to our break in Morocco. There as a delay in our driver collecting us from the airport the hotel manager sorted it for us and despite arriving much later than expected, the fire was roaring and a gorgeous hot meal was waiting. The staff were amazing and we couldn't have asked for a move enjoyable visit.

The location of the hotel was perfect as it was next to the river and had wonderful views of the mountains. The weather was mixed whilst we were there but the hotel set up meant we were able to be cosy by the wood burning stove in the evening and then get out on the terrace when the sun came out. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Some lovely stalls in the village to buy walnuts, almonds and figs.

Heaps of character and Moroccan-style luxury. It’s is a in central location in the village with superb Mountain view’s.The staff particularly Hussain were very friendly and welcoming. The evening meal was good value and tasty as was the breakfast.

Hussain has taken care of us very well, and thanks to the cook for having prepared excellent food.

Not much to criticize; the water installations were a bit flimsy and need repair.

Husain was a great help organising a walk and always so helpful. All the other staff were great too. A beautiful place with great architecture and facilities.

Wow, we loved this traditional Dar in Imlil. The staff are the friendliest of people and Essaine Aziam was very helpful with everything we needed. The views are amazing. And the rooms are traditionally decorated, very spacious, super beds. Truly magical.

Wonderful laid back atmosphere.. a sort of hostel feel but with the amenities of a hotel.. like home from home .. lots of pleasant indoor and outdoor communal places to sit and read and carry your tea around with you ..great location at the end of the road running through the town -easy access to the shops. Lovely, intelligent staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Organised a great trek for us - no stress- with an excellent guide and a generous packed lunch. Did a vegetarian tagine for us on request. The food is simple and healthy - lots of fruit and vegetables.

Beautiful views and lovely staff. We stayed in 2nd floor room (Toubkal) - very spacious and amazing views. Was quite warm in late July but ok with doors open (no aircon). 1st floor rooms kids stayed in had aircon but less spacious. Hospitality by staff was exceptional - special thanks to Essaine, Hassan and Abdoul. Breakfast was good and we ate in the hotel a couple of evenings with very nice food. Organised a family hike via hotel with local guide for one day which was excellent. Kids appreciated the pool in the hot weather (very cold!). Outdoor seating areas have spectacular views.

We loved the spacious room with beautiful views from two balconies. Pool was perfect. Common areas lovely. Staff, especially Essain, were great! Beds very comfy. The hotel organized transport from Marrakech and to Ouarzazate - drivers were fantastic!
