That we only stayed one night 😏

Just AMAZING - best place we stayed at in 2 weeks travelling through Marocco… Like all the other travelers said - wish we would have stayed more than one night. Absolutely spotless, and on point with all the details but the from, but also the outdoor spaces. Lights and hocks in all the right places 🤩🩷🤩 Beautiful decoration, spacious room, spotless, nice smells, super quiet. Best sleep on the entire trip. Also walkable to the Medina, which was such an unexpected cool surprise, busy like Marrakech, but without the Tourist touch. Massive thank you also to Pierre, for the recommendation with regards to the Carpet Cooperative in Talouste - I think we made a good deal and are exited how this massive carpet will look and feel back home. THANK YOU

The Riad is truly an oasis in the desert, it’s so beautiful and the owners have thought of so many little details that truly make a difference. The also personally came to introduce themselves and say hello to us, which are us feel at home.

Nothing but when you are there a small note in the bathroom is very delicately remembering you that you are in a desert area where water is extremely scarce. Please take care when having a shower/ using the bathroom.

Pierre is a very professional host looking for your comfort. His Riad is a gem, a heaven of peace and good taste. With very beautiful and comfy rooms, great cuisine and a nice pool where to relax surrounded by trees, flowers and plants. Prices are very moderate for this great attention. This is small scale sustainable tourism.

The breakfast was disappointing: vache qui rit and bread with some fruits in a basket. We had much better breakfast in other places in this price range A bit of spider net around the pool

Our suite was lovely and very confortable. The swimming pool area is very nice and very welcoming. The owner did not hesitate to give us some good advice to discover the area

Dar Sofar was by far our favourite place we stayed during our trip to Morocco. Agdz was just a stop on the map with the goal of relaxing, and that’s exactly what we did. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail throughout the place is amazing, with a calm and spacious feel in every corner. The garden and pool area are incredibly peaceful, with plenty of quiet spots so every guest can find their own space to relax in peace. The staff were so attentive and made us feel really looked after. We did a lovely walk around the palmeraie which was beautiful. Dinner was absolutely delicious, so we highly recommend eating here. We were so delighted to find this place and highly recommend it.

The rooms were so beautiful and comfortable and so was the pretty garden and beautiful pool area. The hosts were very friendly and we had a nice chat with Valerie. Sad to o my stay one night. Next time we will definitely stay longer!

A beautiful Guest House.. our hosts were charming, interesting, and engaging, and the staff we met were both friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and well appointed and had an simple authenticity and feel which gave us a timeless sense of Morocco, it was accessed externally, and was set in beautiful gardens, with secure parking for our motorbike. Our evening meal was superb and our breakfast was extensive and of equally high quality. We are grateful to have been able to ride through Morocco meeting so many kind and friendly people and our overnight at Dar Sofar contributed to our experience. We would happily return and recommend.

We took an early morning walk around the lovely oasis. It was great to explore the surrounding palm gardens and kasbah. Everything was prefect! We would highly recommend to stay here.

    All was wonderful!

An absolutely wonderful stay perfectly located halfway our trip from Marrakesh to M'Hamid El Ghizlane. Great for anyone looking for something off the beaten track and, quite literally, a calm oasis. This was most definitely the most beautiful place we stayed at during our trip. Delicious food, served in the beautiful courtyard, fantastic and eco-conscious hospitality, and a refreshing swimming pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and walk through the palmeraie. Highly recommend!

Nothing, we loved our stay here

Very nice pool and garden area with plenty of seating to relax and very peaceful. Rooms were very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was good and owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even let my husband put his moth trap on in the garden at night which was greatly appreciated by him and he was really interested to see all the amazing species living here.

We stopped here on the way back from the desert to Marrakesh and it was a lovely space to rest with a very accommodating host. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. For us the best part of our stay was the outside space with the pool and garden, which was tranquil and made for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend if passing through!

Dar Sofar is like an Oasis - we stopped here spontaneously and stayed only one night, but we could have easily stayed longer. Beautiful outside area with a pool and lush green plants. The room had everything we needed. Pierre, the host, was very friendly and helpful and shared some interesting stories and information about the area with us. We can 100% recommend and would stay at Dar Sofar again next time.

Dar Sofar is a lovely cosy property with nicely decorated rooms and a beautiful pool lined with the local glazed green tiles. The hosts Pierre and Valerie were great and we enjoyed our chats with them. Pierre gave us helpful insights into the local area and traditional artistry. The dinner here was the best we had on our travels - the couscous was a revelation. The car parking was also very handy. Merci Pierre and Valerie - on espère revenir.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Sofar. Pierre and Valerie and the staff are kind and helpful and real. Dar Sofar is absolutely beautiful. So many places to sit in the gardens and by the incredible pool. Rooms are great. Covered parking is on site. We ordered dinner and it was amazing! Breakfast was too. Great advice on walking through the palmeraie and local sites. One of our favorite stays in Morocco, and in recent travels. Truly an oasis.

After a long hot journey from Marrakesh we had a warm welcome from Pierre. We had a lovely swim (swimming towels provided). A good nights sleep in the quiet location. After a delicious breakfast we had a lovely walk in the Palmerie, a must if you have time. A couple of days before we arrived Pierre contacted us to see whether we wanted to arrange dinner. We decided not to but wished we had. We ate at the local restaurant in town which was pleasant as we watched the Friday evening activities. A great stop over on the way to the desert. Would highly recommend.
