A beautiful traditionally decorated place with a friendly host . We loved our room. Breakfast was tasty and location unbeatable- in a quiet lane just several minute walk from medina.

Great location. Fabulous air conditioning. Amazing staff. I had a flight at 6:00 am and overslept. Staff woke me up and made sure that I did not miss my plane. Of all of the places that I have stayed in Fes for early flights-this was the first place to give me “breakfast to go”. Great touch. The location is perfect - just outside the Medina - close to Batha square. Seamless in-and-out. Thank you.

Host was very helpful and hospitable. He even offered to help us with the laundry.

Extremely polite and helpful the staff. The location is very convenient for walking access to the medina and at the same time for a taxi drop off. You are staying to an authentic Moroccan dar with the decoration and their hospitality!

The staff were superb, friendly and helpful. Location was okay but the ongoing construction next to it made it a bit haphazard. Breakfast was good and cleanliness was okay.

Highlights of this place were the location (hard to be better for central Fez), very friendly staff, and the breakfast. One of the staff members came to the nearest roundabout to meet us to show us the parking garage, since we arrived with our own car (garage was 30dh per day, which is great). He then took us to the dar and served us the tea. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also great and plenty.

Furniture in our room is a bit on the older side and you could hear quite a lot of noise from the hallway. But we slept well regardless, so nothing critical.

We initially had trouble finding the hotel, but the staff member on shift went out of his way to come and guide us to our room. Once we arrived, he welcomed us with delicious tea and biscuits, which was such a thoughtful touch. Since it was my girlfriend’s birthday, he went above and beyond by decorating the room beautifully with balloons, sweets, and flower petals. It was an unforgettable experience, and we truly appreciated the hospitality. I highly recommend this place!

Great breakfast, very nice and comfortable place.

This place has authentic Morrocan vibe which we really like. The rooms were clean, spacious, had heating, and hotel is near center. Overall good value for money.

The breakfast was a bit light, when we asked for more, they gave us only two extra slices of bread , and there was five of us.

Very, very good value for money. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, kind staff. Can't recommend it highly enough, we're sure to stay here the next time we're in Fes. Also, the medina tour rocked, the local guide is great. You can book the tour directly from the riad.

Great location just outside the Medina. Charming decor and very nice staff.

The room had a little bit of a moldy/musky smell and the beds were quite firm but we were still quite comfortable and it was overall a very pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay in Dar Layali Fez. The location was in a quite place, very close to Medina. The stuff was very friendly(they offered us tea while arriving) and the facilities were excellent and very clean. Breakfast was fulfilling and rich. We received good recommendations for lunch and cite seeing. Very good quality for the price. In total, we highly recommend it.

We observed a bit of extra humidity in the bathroom of our room(ground floor) that might be a problem for warmer time period but not so important from our point of view.

Fabulous stay with very kind and accommodating staff. Came out to meet us and guide as to accommodation and got up for a very early morning start. Lovely breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful Riad in an unbeatable location, everything on your doorstep and yet so peaceful in the Riad, its decor is exquisite and the staff are beyond exceptional and genuinely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely too and the Riad is spotless clean and very comfortable and it’s very accessible by car or taxi for anyone with mobility issues and no stairs to climb as they have rooms on the ground floor, I would highly recommend this Riad to anyone who wants to be beside the Medina and blue gate shops and restaurants but like a peaceful night sleep.
