Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThey should have more people who can speak English and have tea/coffee in the room. Especially a person like me who sits late for work needs some hot drinks, but their kitchen is not open all the time, and they don't allow drinks in the room. Also, they charge some tax at the time of exit, which I found weird because it wasn't mentioned anywhere. I believe it's better to explain earlier.
It's a beautiful house, spotless, very well maintained. Fresh fruits and fresh juice. Lovely French couple with good staff. Simply love this place.

Hong KongNothing worth mentioning. I would just recommend having a car ( 30min from the city)
I had a great stay at Dar Noujoum. Vero and Eric are wonderful hosts. The property is stunning and spotless. The pool is super clean. The staff treat you like royalty, very efficient and discreet. An ideal stay for a relaxing couple of days away from noisy Marrakech.

GermanyUnfortunately there were just a few things that we have to mention as we really were disappointed with them. - We ordered a Superior Room which turned out to be not superior at all. Firstly we had to go to the back of the property at the car park to get to our room which was disappointing given this was by far the most expensive room we had booked during our vacation. The room felt like you were just staying in the worst part of the house. Not ok for nearly €100 in Morocco especially as our window was directly next to where people park which was frustrating as people came home at 3:30am and parked directly next to where we were sleeping - No Wi-Fi in room and very bad Wi-Fi overall. We really struggled and badly needed internet. - Dinner for 1 course €18 or for 3 courses 25€ - this is really almost double what you pay elsewhere and whilst the chef was really nice and tried to accommodate us with requests the food was not great unfortunately. - Too expensive - we stayed at a different place every night in Morocco, many similar and we just felt that, for why you got, this place was simply way too expensive. We loved the people so feel bad about the above but hope that sie improvements can be made overall to make the experience better for future guests.
We were really made to feel very welcome by the owners and staff. They even set up a table for dinner specially for us in the pool house which was lovely.

MoroccoThe hosts/owners Eric and Veronique were rude and mean with unprofessional and inappropriate comments to the guests. We booked the entire house for the weekend, expecting to peacefully enjoy the villa, but unfortunately, the owners were present and their behavior greatly disrupted our stay. They were anything but discreet, monopolizing the communal areas, smoking, and drinking throughout the premises. They restricted access to the kitchen by locking the fridges with padlocks. Additionally, they allowed their aggressive dogs to roam freely indoors and outdoors posing a serious unsafe conditions, especially when we had a baby making its first steps. Our experience was further ruined by Veronique's confrontational and aggressive behavior towards our friends simply for celebrating a friends upcoming wedding with some music. Eric also aggressively demanded additional arbitrary and unfair fees upon checkout. He threaten us because we challenged his bill. They will charge you for every little tiny thing during the stay. Furthermore, the quality of breakfast and dinner did not meet the expected standards for Moroccan cuisine. This establishment should be avoided unless you're interested in witnessing during a breakfast setting the unpleasant spectacle of French smoking owners lecturing their poor Moroccan staff while their dogs defecate on the property.
