How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Bit tricky to navigate alleyways. Although map.me was very helpful.

Verified reviewWonderful location. Very quaint place. The breakfast was amazing.
The AC was not too strong, but honestly this was really minor compared to how lovely everything else was.

Verified reviewLovely quiet and quaint Riad in the middle of the Medina. we were welcomed by Anas, very friendly and helpfull. Also all other staff was lovely and helpfull. Nice Riad in an ok area of the Soukh. The breakfast was lovely and well taken care of.
The pictures online do not quite match the reality. The Riad is a lot smaller and darker then we initially thought and could do with a little extra love here and there.

Verified reviewBreakfast was a set menu and freshly prepared daily. we ate most days on the roof terrace where there is dappled shade. We booked the larger room, classed as a suite, as it had a bed sofa too and a bit more room to lounge/ get ready. there was a super king bed which was super comfy. No TV/fridge or safe and the standard padlock to lock the traditional doors to our room. the riad only has 4 rooms in total and we felt very safe there. there is a hairdryer and plenty of plug sockets. The host Said and Asan could not have been more helpful. a short walk away from the labyrinth of markets, but very peaceful to sit and relax.
a small safe would have been good. one of the bed side lights wasnt working, the water pressure in the shower could have been better

Verified reviewSaid was the nicest and most welcoming host for us. He helped us a lot with transfers and had lots of useful tips and hints for maneuvering the medina. Also the breakfast in the riad was very nice. We got a fresh omelette, buns, fruits, juice and coffee every day.
Might have been due to the weather and/or the room we had (on the lower floor), but the room felt a bit damp. Also our room didn’t have a lot of privacy, since it was directly adjacent to the entry and the courtyard of the riad.

Verified reviewThe staff at Dar Nour El Houda could not have done anymore to make us welcome on our first visit to Marrakech. From a comprehensive introduction to the city at check-in; to making sure we had an early breakfast before walking us to our taxi transfer at check-out. Our room was basic, yet had everything we needed for a comfortable base to explore. It is distant enough from the chaos of Jemaa El-Fna square, yet just a short stroll away from the maze of the medina and the souks. Breakfast on the rooftop is a proper treat, and the perfect way to start your day
Having to leave 😂

Verified reviewThe riad is located perfectly, allowing to go almost everyone by foot. It’s beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean. What made the differencw for us was the staff. They are very nice, kind and super flexible with your plans and willing to cover any need you may have with a smile and good attitude. Breakfast and dinner on arrival was delicious and they were able to accomodate our dietary restrictions. We will come back for sure!

Verified reviewWe loved this riad. It was the last one we stayed in before going home and was such a great last experience. Said, the manager, treated us like kings! He was available for any help or advice for 24h. We had great chats and parted as friends. He called a nice taxi for us for very early in the morning and the driver came to meet us right at the riad. Our room was lovely - on the rooftop. We had all the views to ourselves. The bed and pillows were comfortable, there were hot water and aircon. Room was very quiet. The locations is good - 5-10 mins from main places in the Medina. The breakfast was ok.

Verified reviewThe service was great. Both the guys working at the hotel are super nice and go above and beyond for the guests.
The mattresses had a dip in them, the shower was luke warm to the point that I didn't want to shower to avoid being extremely cold. The rooms are just very tired. The location is so so, the breakfast is also so so. I'm saying this because I've stayed in 3 different riads now and this has been the worst. It's also probably one of the only hotels that don't serve alcohol, and I would have liked to know that before I checked in. Considering I've stayed in much better ones that weren't much more expensive I wouldn't go back here.

Verified reviewThe property being a Riad has a courtyard with some greenary, however visiting this space in winter (January) it meant staying in rooms which do not have basic heating available, the water was ice cold and no hot water was available, we were shifited to another beautiful RIAD Azzouna 13 and we enjoyed our stay there.
We had to complaint about the cold water for 2 days to get to the manager of the property, while he sorted this within a few hours by shifitng us to another beautiful RIAD Azzouna 13, we heard similar complaints from other guests which were not solved, the staff did not quite understand english and kept nodding to every thing we asked, so we only realised they did not understand when they came back something wrong, everything comes with a cost and its expected that you will tip every one for any thing you ask even if it should have been a part of the service.

Verified reviewA clean and pretty little riad. The manager, Oussama is exceptional. Very welcoming and speaks impeccable English. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was nice and they have a friendly terrace kitty cat so, as a cat lover, I was very happy! The hotel arranged a porter to assist with our luggage and a 20 euro airport transfer driver who was lovely.
Everything was nice.

Think the pictures could have been updated, the showers where disappointing and no drinking water was included that was an added payment
