    Clean Good location

They put me in a windowless room in the ground level , besides the fact that it’s claustrophobic and without natural light there is no air circulation so with the dust i had a bad allergic reaction Also the second day no breakfast was served even though you pay extra for the breakfast , it’s not included in the reservation also with no explanation I just hang in there from 9:30 to 11 with no one from the staff around , when i contacted the owner he told me an hour later : sorry the lady is sick , no refund was proposed.

Muhammad was a wonderful host and very friendly and helpful with lots of recommendations and very knowledgeable about Morocco and its history. Breakfast was nice.

The lighting in the bathroom was not great at all. The shower does not have a shower hook. The plug sockets sparked every time we plugged something in. The corners of the room were a little dirty. The parking is located about 11 minutes by walking so if you have luggage, you have to walk all that way. A porter is offered to take your luggage but you are not informed that you have to pay for the porter as he is not a porter of the hotel and only once we got to the apartment, I was informed that I have to pay for the porter who brought my luggage. The apartment that we stayed in had a kind of slopping, unbalanced feeling of the floor

The location was good even though it was a little bit out of the way. It seemed safe also.

The bathroom smelled very bad, there was no hot water, and the water would not go away on the floor after a shower even after using the squeegee.

Dar Rbab has a lovely interior and a beautiful terrace with a great view over the rooftops of the Medina! The breakfast consists of juice, tea, coffee, bread, spreads, olives, eggs and pancakes; more than enough to fuel a day of exploring. The room has a shelf to store your clothes, a comfortable bed and a well functioning AC to compensate for the lack of windows.

The location is close to the shops and restaurants of the Medina, but walking home by myself after sunset was a bit scary. For two people it was absolutely no problem but maybe not the best for solo female travelers. The bathroom was flooded for about 30min after every shower, maybe cleaning the drain/pipes could help with that.

Dar Rbab is one of those rare places in which you will feel and be treated as if you were home, while enjoying a very authentic Moroccan stay, with all the comforts of being in a quiet and beautiful house (with an excellent breakfast!), in the heart of the historical center of Fes. The place is immaculate, and everybody is very helpful, as well as very kind, they will make you feel as if you were part of the family. We will surely repeat the experience!

The view from the top is very beautiful (we had the top floor room). The riad is very nice with a lot of space.

There was a very peculiar and musty smell that didn’t go away and was coming from the bathroom.

Muhammed was incredibly welcoming, he showed us the property, told us about Fes and made us a great breakfast. The riad had a lovely interior design, the breakfast layout was great (you all have breakfast together) and the beds were very xomfortable!

We arrived at 9pm and the area felt a bit unsafe + it was difficult to find the riad. Nonetheless Mohammed came out to meet us as soon as we called him. In the morning you could hear birds / other guests of the riad from your room.
