Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The Riad was in an excellent location where all main attractions could be visited by foot. The property itself was very traditional, spacious and clean. The host was very welcoming and gave us recommendations of places to go as well as was kind enough to organise transfers to and from the airport. The breakfast was the cherry on top and would recommend anyone coming to Marrakech to stay here.

SpainIf I had to say something the mattress was a bit too hard and the lightning of the room a bit too dim. Nothing that would stop us from coming back to this riad on our next trip.
Perfect experience! The room was exactly as advertised: walls were well painted, no bad odors in the bathroom, the shower had good pressure and hot water. Breakfast were great. We really enjoyed the common areas, they were beautiful and comfortable. After a long touring day it was a pleasure to chill out in the terrace with the great views and once the sun sets there is a cozy library as well. The location is great, just a minute from one of the main streets that lead to Yamaa el Fna and is well illuminated at night. All the employees and the owner were incredibly kind and welcoming.

CanadaWe enjoyed our stay at this comfortable ryad. We arrived late at the airport so the prearranged pick up was ideal and necessary, at that time of night, to find the ryad. When we woke and explored the neighborhood, we realized how well located it was. The owner went out of his way to provide us with information about Marrakesh. We are now three weeks into our trip. The breakfasts at Dar Taliwint have been the most varied and delicious.

United KingdomGorgeous little Riad in a perfect location very close to the Bahia Palace. Our room was very comfortable with some great additional touches such as a fridge and toiletries. Lenaick was a very hospitable host, his team were delightful. Breakfast was fabulous. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I came back to Marrakech.

NetherlandsI have no complains.
The Riad was well located in Medina. The room was good with a good size bathroom. It was typical MENA type architecture and decorations. Breakfast was made as ordered with good coffee, juices and sweet stuff. Eggs also available. The host even meet you at the taxi stop. In Morocco I advise to use taxi provided by host.

United KingdomNo complaints really. Marrakech was colder in the morning and evening than I expected so would bring more warm clothes next time. Our room had and air conditioner that doubled up as a heater.
Beautiful guest house very near to the center so we were able to walk everywhere, Bahia Palace and main square a few minutes walk. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and were given a take away one when we left to catch and early fight. Large attractively decorated room with comfortable bed, our shower was very powerful. We enjoyed the sunroof and usually had it to ourselves. Lénaick was helpful, attentive and a mind of information, he gave a some lovely recommendations for meals that enriched our holiday. I would recommend this riad highly and would stay here if I came back to Marrakech.

United KingdomThe beds were rather hard, and everything is rather faded but I would definitely stay there again. The front door was very tricky and we could not get in one night and, as the place is not staffed at night, we had to call the owner. He sent someone round and were were in in 5 minutes.
A gorgeous Dar within walking distance of the main square, and very close to the Bahia and the El Badi Palace and the Tinsmiths Square. An excellent location, we felt. The staff were lovely and the breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace with its views of the mountains. All the little details gave the place real old-world Moroccan charm.

United KingdomWe were met from the airport transfer (arranged by Dar Taliwint) by Lénaïck - the French host & owner of this Riad. He is SUCH a charming & wonderful man. On arrival he gave us some delicious local sweet mint tea, and oriented us in simple terms, so we wouldn't get lost around the labyrinth of alleyways that is Marrakesh. The Riad is of classic style, sympathetically & beautifully restored to its former glory, based around an open courtyard. Moroccan furniture, lamps & personal paraphernalia adorn the Riad. There is a rooftop terrace with seating & games, and a fab view over the city. Breakfast is freshly cooked every morning by 2 lovely ladies who work there. Coffee, freshly squeezed juice, fruit, fresh bread, eggs etc etc will see you right for the day. Honest and humble, this is the perfect base to explore the city. We will be back!

The owner was very personable, friendly, and really couldn't do enough for you. Great location ... very close to everything but just far enough away from the noise and craziness of the main square.
