Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SloveniaGreat location, very clean, welcoming staff, overall great experience. If you stay there, you have to eat at their restaurant as the food is delicious. However there is no AC so it can get quite hot during the summer.

GermanyThe rooms don't have proper ventilation and it gets EXTREMELY hot inside in summer to the point it's almost unbearable to sleep inside (the fans don't help unfortunately). If you are sensitive to the heat - I don't recommend staying here, otherwise great value for money
My stay was quite pleasant, the room was clean and spacious. The shared bathroom was also clean and there was hot water in the shower. WiFi was working great for me too. It was easy to check in after midnight and the area in the medina is quite safe (unlike in cities like Marrakech where it can get quite shady). Overall, it's good value for money .

MexicoAlthough I definitely recommend this place, below I share a few minor remarks: 1) It's quiet all the time, but sometimes the prayers from the mosque can be heard, but not too high. Overall, it's acceptable from my perspective. 2) In the hotel description, it is mentioned "security deposit box" (or safety box), but there isn't in the rooms. Probably the reception has one to store valuables like passport, laptop, etc.. I didn't ask, but there is no security box. 3) There is only one shared shower+bathroom for all the 3-4 rooms. That's OK and wasn't an issue during my staying, since I could use it every time I needed. However, there is an extra toilet but during my staying it wasn't working. 4) The door of the room I stayed (room 5, the King room and biggest one), did not close entirely. Although locked, it could be seen a bit from outside. I would suggest the hotel managers/owners to fix this and ensure it closes entirely and accordingly. 5) Last, there were no instructions for check-out but only the time (before 11am). It would be important to provide such instructions, particularly to whom and where to turn back the key. I am raising this question because when I left the place, I wasn't sure to whether go to the restaurant next door (although closed) or leave it at the room. When I left the olace, there was a person who asked for the key. He/she said they work at the hotel+restaurant, but what if not. Overall, I recommend this place to stay. It is clean, confy and safe.
Spatious room, confortable wide bed, very clean place, location within the medina, protected and safe, quiet, and an authentic Moroccan restaurant next door (hotel guests have 10% discounts!). There is electric and slinet fan to solve the heat.

United Kingdom- internal facing windows so not much airflow but if you expect it it’s okay
- amazing staff, so kind : it was almost 40 degrees when we stayed, and the fan in the room wasn’t really providing any relief so we asked if we could open a window because it was so hot. The windows weren’t able to be open but the kind host offered us to stay in one of the other rooms which had much better ventilation. - great location, literally off the main market street - good facilities

United KingdomWish we stayed longer :(
The owner has two properties (I guess) as we stayed at Dar Saba. We were the only ones there and loved it. The place is right in the middle of the medina, and it was super quiet. We didn't hear any noise, and it was amazing. The room was huge, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable; we even had a sofa. The bathroom is just outside the room with three showers and the sinks outside. Highly recommend staying here!

United KingdomThere was a bit of weird smell, but I think I was an old building with high ceilings...and a bit of the paint was peeling or falling off in some high places, so it obviously suffered some damp issues. The roof terrace was tiny, with no views, and no washing line to hang the few small items I washed most days... DEFINITELY not a deal breaker though! The fridge in the kitchen wasn't plugged in and the socket was too high up the wall for the plug lead to reach, so having cereal for breakfast (which I like a fair bit) was more difficult as you couldn't store milk, or other items that needed refigerating. I'm being highly critical though, because overall the place was superb value for money!
Unbelievably big room! King size bed, great hot shower and bathroom...everything worked! 😂

On the middle of the old medina, close to the Rabat beach, Sale beach and on the other side of, from the souk and the center of Rabat: old style motel next to their restaurant. A true pleasure!!!!!!

United KingdomOn the whole Dar Tsouli needs a bit of love from a handy man. In the room 40% of the light bulbs were burnt out. The door does not close properly and despite being locked could easily be pulled open. The outside door has a quality lock so I didn't worry too much. The room had a strange odour. Not unbearable, but a weird mixture of hashish and damp. It's an old building in the Medina so I expected the damp; but, the hashish was a mystery.
I stayed at Dar Tsouli for 10 days in May and had a great time. It was my first trip to Rabat but I often travel to Morocco so I know what to expect for a place in the Medina for that price. The room is massive! Bedroom, dining room, and sitting room. The location is superb. Just off the main shopping Souk so all of your souvenir needs are there. Close to the tram, Gare Rabat Ville, and taxi ranks. Close to Rabat Beach, Oudayas, Tour Hassan, the Marche Central, Ave Mohammed V and Centre Ville. Cleanliness was excellent and the cleaners were very friendly. On check out day I was ill and the manager allowed me to stay an extra hour, which I really appreciated.

EstoniaWe didn’t get much fresh air (we were in room 7) as the windows opened to the corridor. Also, there’s no place to hang your clothes or towels in the room. Some hooks on the door or a coat stand would’ve been good.
The Dar was easy to find as it’s located next to a restaurant. The room was clean, comfortable and value-for-money. The shared bathroom was cleaned every day so no worries about bathroom cleanliness.

United KingdomAs it’s very near one of the mosques the prayer calls can be heard quite loudly, but they only last a few minutes so not too much of a problem although I’d maybe advise earplugs
Property in a great location in a quiet street in the medina - nice room and comfortable bed and bathroom was quite nice too. Restaurant next door is owned by the same people and is very good.
