This Riad has been our home lately. We often come to Essaouira and Dar is always our first choice. Not only it is the heart of the Medina, but it's also quiet and practical. Thanks to the kitchen, we barely eat outside and I highly recommend to buy your own groceries because, first is cheaper second you will experiencing cooking and eating in a Riad like it is your home. The beds are comfortable and the wifi works okay.

Whilst the sharing of the accommodation and the bathroom was not an issue, it was a little strange to have someone waiting for our return from an evening out, and her stay just outside the room whilst we got into bed. She was audibly on the phone and pattering around waiting for the other couple to arrive. It didn’t feel as private as we would have liked.

The location was fantastic, and the decor was lovely.

The riad was super calm, all you can hear are the waves close by. The staff, Lalla Milouda, was super nice, helpful, and welcoming. I also enjoyed how comfortable the beds are and how cozy the place is in general.

The owner and his protégé were fantastic! both doing the best they could to make the riad feel like it was my own home. Big thanks to Amid and all his help in directing me around the hussle and bustle of Marrakech. I would solidly recommend this Riad to anyone planning a visit to beautiful Marrakech 😍

There was an extra tourism payment that we couldn't make with a credit card. We hate these fees since it means using more cash that should be used for smaller and less stable businesses. Most Westerners are all for credit cards whenever possible. Also, the courtyard reverberates noise so the home was loud when people were talking. And the wifi was very slow. So we couldn't get much computer work done.

The shower toilet combo was interesting. Very Japanese in nature, but also inconvenient if multiple people need to use the bathroom at once. It was a pro and con. The place was newly renovated and well-kept.

High humidity in the room on the ground floor, without possibility to aerate. Blind street without any indication, I only found a place with a help of a local guy.

A beautiful lady Meruda was the best part of this property! The room was clean and cozy, as the rest of riad. Good hot shower and possibility to use a kitchen. Calm and quiet in the night.

- Having a relitvely mild weather, the room easily got stuffy with limited options to maintain air circulation in the room. - using the bathroom was a bit tricky, just with the positioning of the shower head, the toliet and the unstirdiness of the doors.

The place was properly hidden in the narrow alley's of the city, giving it such a beautiful charm. It definetly gave a good, peaceful feel which is exactly was essouaria is all about.

Address doesnt show up on google map so it was hard to find at first, a lot of searching and contacting the host for some direction. They came out and greeted us at the car to guide us to the place.

The host was amazing and the place is so authentic and perfect. Location is right at the center or the old medina. Greeted with some tea and towels were so plush. Absolutely recommend
