Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Overall was an excellent stay. Property is located walking distance from key attractions in Marrakesh. Small swimming pool and terrace at the roof was to our disposal all the time. Omar who is the host was very helpful and available 24/7 for us. Rooms nice & clean. Breakfast was served from 8:30 am. We get each day mixed of: croissants, bread, fruits, eggs and some local cousins. Great spot for family time!

PhilippinesThe property is clean and elegantly decorated. Service was always available and staff was always mindful of guests needs. The owner is very helpful even giving advice on how to make the most of your trip. He made special arrangements to accommodate our schedule making planning easy. Lastly, it is located right in the middle of the medina making it close to a lot of the attractions. There are a lot of good restaurants and shops nearby as well.

United KingdomThere really wasn't anything I disliked. I suppose I was a little disappointed not to be able to see out from the roof top.....but there are plenty in Marrakesh that you can!
The location was amazing, right in the heart of old town, left or right out of the Rhiad colourful little adventures. An oasis where you can chill. So peaceful. Lovely breakfast. Omar's organisation is so good can contact him by wattsup even rearranging our day trip to Atlas Mountains because it clashed with going to the YSL gardens. Airport transfers so smooth, which I would recommend as it is a walk from where cars can go and you will never find it without the Rhiad guide to meet you at the taxi with his trolley to take you and your luggage down the narrow pedestrian streets to the Rhiad. He was happy with 30Dh tip each way.

United KingdomThe riad was a calm sanctuary amid bustling colourful souks. Our room was a stunning Moroccan haven, comfortable bed, storage and a bathroom with a shower and bath. The terrace on the roof is lovely, with spaces to sit on the sun, the shade or eat breakfast. The staff could not be more helpful, provide delicious breakfasts every day and making up the room each day providing clean towels. We will definitely be going back.

United KingdomTake Omar up on the offer of help regarding arriving to the Riad if you are new to Marrakech, but after your first arrival you will easily navigate your way back (it’s probably a 1 minute walk back off one of the main walk ways).
Riad Darhani is spectacular, the accommodation itself offered a good mix of beauty and character, I enjoyed how central it was but also very peaceful & quiet. Omar and the staff were extremely attentive in every way regarding housekeeping, breakfast and organising our arrival/departure from Riad Darhani. We also requested a number of extras that Omar kindly organised for us (birthday decs and an authentic morrocan chocolate birthday cake).

United KingdomOmar and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and nice. The accommodation was exactly as described, with a clean room, nice rooftop terrace and I good breakfast. We didn’t go for a swim but it was nice to relax on the sofas found on each floor. I’d recommend this property to everyone, the location was also excellent, down a private street so not too noisy, but less than a minutes walk to the heart of the souks.

United KingdomNothing, everything was perfect
After a very stressful beginning to our trip, with the Riad booked via the tour operator being fully booked and having no record of our booking, we quickly had to find somewhere to stay for the night whilst we figured out the issue! We were so lucky that we took a chance and quickly chose this Riad via Booking.com. Once we found the location amongst the maze of souk alleyways, this Riad was an absolute delight for our senses. The Riad owner was so lovely, immediately bringing us the traditional welcome mint tea, understanding the stressful journey that we had experienced so far. The Riad is breathtakingly beautiful, if they had had availability for the remainder of the holiday then we would have stayed here. The decor is second to none, and provided us with a calm relaxing haven for our first night. The owner recommended some restaurants close by for us to try for our evening meal as he could see that we just needed to eat and then sleep for the night. One of those choices was Cafe Arabe which was only a 5 minute walk and immediately became our favourite restaurant of the trip. I would recommend this Riad to everyone, if they have availability then stay here 😊

United KingdomNothing to do with the Riad but I had booked a return to the airport through booking.com and had underestimated how long it takes to get through the airport (we arrived 3hrs ahead and only had around 30 mins in total sitting around!). The company were reluctant to change the time I had originally set hence booking another through Omar. We would not have made the plane if I had stuck to the original time.
Communication prior to arriving was excellent. Omar messaged me to say someone from the Riad would pick us up from the airport but I had already booked a transfer. However Abdel (hope I spelled his name correctly) met us from the taxi and took us to the Riad which is in the Medina where no cars can go. This was reassuring for our first time visiting Marrakech. Omar was extremely helpful with advice regarding haggling and directions to attractions. He will arrange excursions for you and someone will come to the Riad to pick you up and put you in the right van - there are a lot around so it would be easy to make a mistake! He also booked a taxi for us to the airport. I would recommend booking through your accommodation for this as the locals know more about how long it takes to get through the multiple security checks. There are many! The staff at the Riad were amazing. Very sweet and accommodating. I would stay here again

GermanyThe beds could be a little softer and the isolation is not the best but this is usually the case for Riads so it did not bother us at all.
Abdou picked us up in the middle of the night which was great. He was always available for questions and the accommodation was beautiful. They have a beautiful roof terrace and a very nice courtyard. we felt very well taken care of.

United KingdomWe had the ground floor room, so it was a little awkward at breakfast time, it’s so silent in the Riad you feel like everyone can hear you, especially in this room.
Overall an amazing and beautiful Riad. The location for us was perfect, in the middle of the souks and all the great streets, and ten minutes walking to the square. It is mad how crazy it is outside the Riad, but how peaceful it is inside. The rooftop is lovely to relax on, and the breakfast also great. The pool is nice to quickly cool off in.

United KingdomNo criticisms of the Riad at all.
Absolutely brilliant. The owner, Omar, was very helpful and arranged transfers from the airport, taxis, trips etc. The Riad itself is beautiful, tucked away down a quiet side street in the Medina. 10 minute walk to the main square. Rooms were lovely, breakfast excellent.
