The riad location was perfect – close to everything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. Service was top-notch, and the price was very reasonable for what we received. Honestly, it deserves more than ten stars. We’ll definitely be coming back on our next visit!

Very comfortable riad at centre of Fes. The staff are professional and helpful. The riad serves breakfask and dinner which is convenient.

Beautiful Riad, richly decorated and comfortable. Food is really delicious. Rooftop is open and the views are stunning. Staff is helpful and you should definitely hire a guide for your first day

Best Riad I stayed in the country and if not the best one I ever stayed at. Staff are super friendly, welcoming and happy to help with any issues you may have in the city. They organise trips as well for a reasonable price which I would recommend as well. The food is nothing more than wonderful. I have nothing to complain about. If it is your first stay or you have already been to Morocco. You have to stay here

Loved this place! The hotel is super pretty and clean, and the price was way better than I expected for what you get. The staff were all really friendly and helpful – made the whole stay feel extra comfortable. Great location, cozy rooms, and just an overall awesome vibe. Definitely coming back!

    Decoration of the hotel

Our stay at this hotel was quite disappointing from the moment we arrived. The road outside was extremely dirty, with two large, smelly bins placed right by the entrance — not a welcoming first impression. When we checked in, the staff told us we had booked a second-floor room, but then offered us a first-floor room instead. As I was traveling with a toddler and the stairs to the second floor were very steep, I agreed to take the first-floor room. However, the staff insisted that we cancel our Booking.com reservation and pay in cash instead — which felt very unusual and uncomfortable. We had just arrived after a long journey and were exhausted. At first, they told us we could pay the next day, but then changed their mind within half an hour and said we had to pay immediately. It felt very disorganized and unprofessional. We had a small argument because we didn’t want to cancel our online booking — understandably, we wanted to keep a record in case anything went wrong. The staff did not seem to like that, and it affected the rest of our stay. At breakfast the next day, the staff barely acknowledged us. There were no eggs or any hot options available — just bread — and I had to ask for orange juice specifically. We stayed for three nights, and during that time, they never changed our bedsheets or cleaned the room once. Overall, this stay was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. The only positive was the location, but everything else fell far below expectations.

We liked everything. A cosy old traditional house in the centre of the medina. The hosts are a young couple - very pleasant people, always ready to help with any question. They even met us at the entrance to the old part of the medina so that we would not get lost. You can always write on WhatsApp to ask what you need, such assistance was very pleasant. The hotel has everything you need, everything is very clean and pleasant, there is air conditioning and breakfast is served from 9am. The breakfast is very tasty - bread, tortillas, olives, jam, butter, honey, tahini tea or just great local coffee. By the way, they can also help you with excursions if necessary, you can ask or even book in advance or on the spot. We arrived at Fez airport and took a transfer through them for $20. The hotel is in a good location, everything is bright in the evening, you can walk around safely. There is a café and a market nearby. We really liked it there. P.s. For animal lovers - you can use some small money to buy food for stray cats - there really are a lot of them in Fes.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming guest house in Fez Medina, conveniently located near the iconic Blue Gate. This location was perfect for exploring the vibrant heart of the city, with its bustling souks and historic sites just a stone's throw away. The guest house itself offered exceptional value for money. The rooms were not only comfortable but also tastefully decorated with traditional Moroccan elements, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. Despite the affordable price, the amenities were impressive, including free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a delightful complimentary breakfast each morning. What truly made my stay memorable was the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and at home. They were always available to offer tips on local attractions, assist with bookings, and even arrange transportation. In summary, if you're looking for a budget-friendly, comfortable, and culturally immersive place to stay in Fez Medina, this guest house near the Blue Gate is an excellent choice. The combination of great location, excellent service, and reasonable pricing makes it a standout option for any traveler. Highly recommended!

Stairs are slightly more steep with high steps.
