Very welcoming, basic but very warmly decorated space. Great location to start the Toubkal mountain trail. Large enough property to house the 4 families in our group with plenty of common areas including a beautiful rooftop.

Younes was a most attentive and kind host: he gave us a wonderful welcome and was always helpful. The food was great and plentiful. Very comfortable beds. Amazing views! A little far from the main town but imlil is made for walking! We really enjoyed our stay.

It was a good experience in Houcine house 😀 The room was big as pictured,clean same to bathroom,the view was marvelous and people there are so kind and workable ,for that I made a new reservation for the second night , really it was worth it. It was not far from the center too so it was like a location for people with a car or without.

We had a truly wonderful two-night stay at Gite Tizi Mizik, and we couldn’t have hoped for better hospitality. Alhassan was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. He helped us with every detail about the city, offering invaluable advice that made our trip even more enjoyable. On top of that, Alhassan arranged a taxi ride back to Marrakesh for us at a very fair price, which we greatly appreciated. His generosity and kindness left a lasting impression, and we can’t thank him enough. If you’re looking for a place with amazing views, warm hospitality, and excellent service, Gîte Tizi Mizik is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The host and his son welcomed me very kindly as they saw me riding the last meters up the hill with my bicycle. I enjoyed a Morrocon tea on the terrace with a stunning view on the Atlas afterwards - a great refreshment after a long and active day. It was clean and tidy and the whole building gave a traditional atmosphere and cozynes. Although a bit cold in December, the dining and social room were heated with gas and there were enough blankets in the room. Dinner and breakfast were also very good - as you can expect in Morrocon where food is deeply embedded into the culture of the country.

Could not get the shower to run hot. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. Anyways, not a huge deal, but this would be the one thing I would have improved upon.

Hassan was a wonderful host. The terrace has a fantastic view, and the property is close to several trails. It gets chilly at night, but there are plenty of heavy blankets provided. Private enclosed parking. Oh, and did i mention the views from the terrace? :)

Our stay in Gite Tizi Mizik was an outstanding experience. The best part of it was the hospitality of the owners. They prepared delicious breakfast and dinner. The next day, when we were going to the Toubkal shelter, they even let us leave our car at their property. Really recommend this place!

This hotel has a location with a very nice view to the mountains. The personel is very helpful and friendly! It was a perfect place to stay and have a break after trekking to Toubkal :) The breakfast on the rooftop tarrace was amazing! Totally recommended!

The Internet is not stable in a room but you will have a connection at the common area. When you book the place make sure you saw that taxes and a breakfast are not included to the price and you will be asked to pay an extra amount on sight. It could be a problem with a hot water when there are lots of people stay and use it at the same time. You would need to wait some time till it is warmed up again.

We booked a room for 3 persons before and after Toubkal climbing. The place has an opened terrace with a great view to the mountains. Hassan (an owner of the place) and his assistant (a chief on the kitchen) are very very kind, friendly and hospitable people. Hassan can help with any question, order a taxi, rent an equipment for climbing, find a guide etc. And his assistant makes a super delicious Moroccan food. I highly recommend to order a dinner at least once here! Meat and vegetarian/vegan options are available.

The shower could have been a little warmer as it was freezing when we visited.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, Hassan and Mohammed were incredibly hospitable, warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and they were so helpful with all our questions. Mohammed couldn't speak English but still tried to accommodate everything we asked for. Hassan was so helpful in solving a significant transport problem we had. We would 100 per cent recommend this accommodation.

Everything was perfect

Perfect location for hiking in the Atlas. We arrived in the afternoon and Hassan arranged a very competent English speaking guide (Hamid) and all the gear we needed to start the climb to Mt Toubkal the following morning. The host was very welcoming and friendly and really knows how to cook. We could park the car inside the compound. We definitely recommend this place

A little bit cold in the room at night

We came late and hungry, we asked for last minute dinner and got instantly omelette with bread, so got fed immediately. Thank you so much. The man didn't speak any English, but he was very very nice and we found a way to communicate through pictures. Beautiful room and stunning view of the mountains from the terrace/parking outside.
