Very very cute place with a host who went above and beyond for us! Our rental car didn‘t start anymore. Hamid arranged everything for us and even organized a cable to start our car with the help of his own car. Other from that also the room was beautiful and spacious. Would definitely come back!! Thanks a lot for the great experience here in his beautiful home.

    everything was perfect!

Very very nice owners/staff, food was delicious, very clean and traditional. Exceeded expectations! Keep in mind that it is quite traditional and if you're expecting a luxury resort, this is not for you. If however you are looking for a local nice and VERY CLEAN and cozy place to stay, I can't recommend it more.

The hots were very friendly. They took very good care of us, especially because I had an stomach issue and they tried everything to help and prepared some plain rice for me. The rooms are very nice and the location perfect to visit the beautiful towns in the area.

This was a lovely, clean and comfortable place to stay. We were travelling between Marrakesh and Merzouga and wanted somewhere quiet to stop and recharge and this was perfect. Our host was so welcoming, engaging and helpful. The food was excellent and he even prepared us a snack when we arrived because we were hungry. Highly recommend!

Jamal, our gracious host, and Ahmed, our fantastic cook were very kind and welcoming...as well as talented (they played music for us one evening). The food was delicious! The outdoor seating options were all lovely. At night we heard only crickets and a bit of a breeze.

It worked out well for us without a car but this place is more suitable for travellers who are driving. It's possible to get a taxi though, so not a real problem.

This riad was one of the absolute highlights of our trip through Morocco. If you're looking for authenticity, warm hospitality, and a place where you can truly feel at home – this is it. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the heart and soul behind this place. The hosts and entire team are passionate and attentive, always doing their best to fulfill your wishes. We immediately felt welcomed and cared for. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated – with charming, thoughtful details you won’t find everywhere. The terrace is especially lovely – the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Dinner was simply incredible – hands down the best meal we had in all of Morocco. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with love. The avocado-orange smoothie was a dream!
Unfortunately, I had food poisoning two days before and was only able to eat certain things. The hosts went above and beyond, preparing a personalized meal for me with so much care and kindness – I was truly touched. My partner enjoyed the full dinner and was thrilled. I still managed to try a few bites, and honestly, I didn’t want to stop! Evenings are accompanied by traditional live music – a magical touch that makes the experience complete. This riad is not just a place to sleep – it's a memory you’ll cherish. What we also loved: many details in the decor are handmade – like a bathroom mirror crafted from an old car tire with a fish motif. These unique touches give the place its special charm. The value for money is unbeatable. The beds were comfortable, and we slept very well. Bottom line: If you're visiting Aït Ben Haddou or just passing through, you have to stay here. It’s a place filled with warmth, generosity, and authenticity – and it will stay with you long after you leave.

The fact that we stayed only one night

We had a lovely night: a beautiful sunset was followed by a homemade freshly cooked meal. We were delightedly surprised then by Hosts as they held a private concert for their guests with traditional barber music.

Great small little gem, felt very welcoming! Super friendly staff and really nice atmosphere. Very nice location as it’s just a bit north of the crazy hotel strip across Ait Ben Haddou. But still close enough with a very short drive distance away.

Nothing, really good value for money

Jamal was extremely kind to us. He gave us a a quick derbouka lesson and did some Berber magic tricks. A good illustration of Berber hospitality. Also the room was very cosy and authentic as almost everything was handmade. It’s been the highlight of our stay in Morocco so far.

The place was peaceful and quiet. Our room was perfectly clean and nicely decorated. Jamal was really friendly and helpful. We regret that we didn't have dinner, because we heard from other guests it was the best food they had in Morocco.

That we choose to have dinner in town.
