the hosts Reda and Badr will immediately make you feel at home! I stayed here for a week and went solo, the shared breakfast every morning was really nice also to meet all of the people staying there. The hostel is very close to the beach and the main street which is really nice. I would definitely come back here some time :)

We stayed at Happy Surf Hostel for a week and had the best time! Reda and Bader are amazing hosts — super friendly, helpful, accommodating and just really cool people. You can totally count on them to make your stay in Taghazout unforgettable. They’re always full of great tips and good energy. We enjoyed the trip to Paradise Valley and the surf lessons. Our private room was comfy, the shared spaces were cleaned daily, and the rooftop was super chill. Oh, and the three cats? Definitely a bonus! If we ever come back to Taghazout, we’ll for sure stay here again. Big thanks for everything!

The room was very dated and had a lack of power outlets just one in the bathroom. But the place was being refurbished and builders came into the room as I left

Been in a private room for two nights. Big comfortable, good breakfast, beautiful rooftop terrace view. We were promised breakfast because we had to leave at 7:30... it was somehow forgotten after repeatedly checking with the guy. Ah and it smelled kinda bad out of the bathroom :) And window to the street/door was also busy till late

Sometimes the breakfast wasn't ready yet and other times most of it was already gone. There were a few days when the water wasn't hot. Bring earplugs, because the rooms let through a lot of sound from the hallway.

Good atmosphere and tasty breakfast. The location is great and there's a nice rooftop. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Cute cats and kind staff. There's activities on offer almost every day and the staff also knows good tips.

Our stay at happy surf hotel was pleasant and relaxed. We used the hostel to arrange a airport transfer that cost €30 each way plus tip, this is a good price and negates the hassle of negotiating a taxi. We stayed in the double private room and found it comfortable and fit for purpose with good access to wash facilities. As it is a hostel it can get quite loud at night so i can recommend bringing earplugs. We had the daily communal breakfast, daily it was tagine, banana, and bread - more than enough for everyone. The hostel is 5 mins or less walk to the beach, taxi , or bus stop

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff is friendly and takes great care of the guests. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed, and everything is clean and tidy. Mohamed is professional and kind, always helpful with any questions about the stay and beyond. You feel welcome and at home here. Even the other guests are very pleasant. I would definitely book again. A 100% recommendation!

Cleanliness wasn't the strong point and the building in general could go through some improvement. But in general, not much to complain about. It is fine for the price paid.

The location is perfect, next to the beach and the town main road. The atmosphere was great and it was nice to make friends.

Not much to say. As I said, you get what you pay for.

The stay was quite nice, maybe a little more expensive than what you get if you rent a room separately, but still affordable. The staff were great and I loved how easy it was to chat with other travellers after a long day relaxing on the terrace. The wifi worked great, no problems, the location is amazing too, but there is no bad location because Taghazout is quite small so every area to stay is good.

Showers were a bit cold most of the times for some reason, but the weather was good so we didn't even bother to ask why. Noise from stairs could bother some guests, but don't forget this is a hostel building so you should be flexible :)
