Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomA peaceful spot surrounded by beautiful, surreal scenery—just a short walk through the village and the oasis leads you to the canyon valley. An excellent and incredibly helpful host, with warm, positive, and family-like vibes from the entire staff

PortugalA warm and welcoming atmosphere with a cozy, home-like feel. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the location is perfect for hiking enthusiasts. If you're planning to explore Monkey Fingers, it is strongly recommended to book a guide, as the trail is not clearly marked. Call the guesthouse and book directly with Ibrahim—it’s more affordable and avoids middlemen! Ibrahim is very knowledgeable and fluent in multiple languages. He provided us with valuable recommendations, and the hike with him was an absolute pleasure!

United KingdomWe spent two nights at the Hiking Nomads and enjoyed them tremendously. It's a family run guesthouse with amazing hospitality, good food and an all round warm and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are basic but perfectly adequate as only used for sleeping. We like to read before going to sleep, and this guesthouse was the only one with functioning bedside lights during our 10-day stay in Morocco. Many happy hours spent on the terrace enjoying the view and chatting to Ibrahim when he didn't have too many unexpected guests to deal with. Thank you to everyone who looked after us.

NetherlandsThe guesthouse has a beautiful view and we were warmly welcomed. Very friendly and helpful staff! We received excellent recommendations on excursions and we went for a hike with Hicham. This was an unforgettable experience! In the evening they cooked traditional Moroccon food for us (tajine) which was very tasty. We felt truly welcome and very well taken care of.

SpainNothing bad with the place except perhaps that it is noticeably the noise of a machine or a water pump or something. Maybe also you can hear too much of the other rooms, however it wasn’t that bad.
The best views from the valley and the rock formations in town I believe. The staff was soooo welcoming and kind. The breakfast was delicious too. The place is great and with fantastic feeling and with an excellent terrace.

It was perfect. The rooms were spacious. Bathrooms were clean and hygienic. The terrace views are amazing. They do have great hiking options - for 1 hr, 3 hrs, or a whole day. They are happy to customise the hikes you would want depending on the time you have in had. We used this place as a short stopover stay before heading to Mergouz

NetherlandsThere is no nice central ‘living room’ or something like that to hang out and meet other people.
Very good value for money. Personnel is friendly and helpful, although hiking recommendations were a bit vague (but you can find nice hikes nearby easily by googling). Location is perfect for exploring the Dades Valley by car, but there are not a lot of restaurants/shops etc. within walking distance. The provided breakfast was simple but nice. Nights can get a bit cold in winter.

United KingdomVery minor points, but the pool is actually in the property next door... it's not far away, but it is more residential and on the small side, so we would consider that a nice addition rather than a key aspect of our stay there. There was no hot water for our showers (no problem at all though given the temperature and fact we'd just been on a hike), the room was very warm and we didn't really want the balcony door open as there was a little road noise (a small tradeoff for that view). But these pale into insignificance given the incredible experience we had there and really showed us the difference it makes when you meet special people who really care about what they do.
Brahim was the perfect host and made our stay here the highlight of our roadtrip in Morocco. He and his brother were so friendly, kind and helpful, and struck the right balance of being around when we needed, without being overbearing. The place has been recently renovated with pride and there were a few small bits yet to complete, but the family room was beautifully decorated and absolutely perfect for our family of 5. We loved the terrace where we ate with a nice view of the gorge and all food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the dinner which was mostly made from local produce. Brahim was even kind enough to arrange a special cake for our son's birthday which made his day. All communication was excellent and easy due to Brahim's fantastic English and responsive emails. The gorge hike Brahim took us on was the absolute highlight and far better than the one we did in Todra. We benefited from his extensive local knowledge having grown up there and enjoyed sampling fruits from the farms and learning about the place while we took in the impressive varied landscapes of the gorge... We would never have found such an awesome route ourselves and cannot recommend this highly enough! This place has left a lasting imprint on our hearts and we are so grateful for Brahim's kind hospitality, thank you!
