We had a great stay! The shared kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for cooking meals. We especially loved the terrace – it was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. Would definitely recommend! Please refill the toilet paper more often:)

the host lives next to the hostel and so they are not there during the night. young people organized parties on the rooftop and inviting others that don't stay at the hostel, and made a lot of noise (jumps, screams) during the night. all the great efforts of the host were ruined by young people that stayed in other dormitories. too bad.. :(

The room was spacious and clean, amazing large rooftop. it is a bit uphill but completely worth it and not far from the center. The family that owns the hostel are simply wonderful, they invited us to their home and treated us as their family.

During our stay we had two nights where we didn't have electricity in the room, however the owners tried to solve it as quick as possible and even offered us another room :) Also there was one night that there were random local ppl in the living room next to our room doing a lot of noise.

The view from the rooftop is to die for, every day after work we would go there to just enjoy the ocean sound, the sun, birds chapping. It is pretty decorated. As of the room, it was very functional and comfy as well as the bedsheets. They offered us two towels eachl. The wifi was very good and we could do some work during the day without any problem. Although on top of the hill, it's prime located as it is nice to go up and down. It's anyway 2-3MIN! Thanks for the hospitality to the beautiful family that runs this place.

Such a cute place with amazing breakfast, the family owning the hostel are so sweet and even invited us for dinner during Ramadan. Clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms, great location and amazing rooftop!

The showers were really clean and worked well but they smelled a bit moldy which I have never not experienced in a hostel so I guess it’s normal. But maybe one could use something against the smell.

The rooms were super clean and the bed very comfortable. Every bed has his own locker and plug. The rooftop is also really nice and a good place to meet the other people. But the absolute best thing was the staff. Mohamed and Fatima made breakfast and lunch for us everyday. The food was so good and they didn’t even charge extra for it.

Nothing, this place is amazing

Probably the BEST hostel we have ever stayed in. Fatima and Mohamed are the sweetest and most hospitable hosts, they couldn’t do enough for us and even fed us without asking for anything in return. Their kindness and warmth is what makes this place really incredible. The hostel is a stones throw away from the beach, with amazing views from the rooftop. Brilliant value for money and we met some lovely people!

This is truly the cutest hostel ever! It has everything you need, and the family running it is incredibly kind and welcoming. They often surprised us with the most delicious homemade Moroccan food, which was absolutely heartwarming. The view from the terrace is super nice – a perfect spot to relax, whether you prefer soaking up the sun or enjoying the shade. The family’s hospitality was great, always ready to help with anything we needed. It’s also a great place to meet other travelers and share stories. I can’t recommend this place enough and will come back.

This hostel truly feels like home. Mr. Mohamed, his wife, and their children are incredibly generous, always warm and welcoming. They make me feel like part of their family. Beyond the hospitality, this hostel is the perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful, traditional atmosphere. The morning and evening vibes are simply magical. From the rooftop, you get a breathtaking view of the entire town and the vast, endless sea. Perched atop a mountain, the hostel offers a panorama that feels almost unreal.

Very good experience staying at Aftas Hostel. Me and my friends had such a good time! The owners family is so kind and always helpful. We got invited to dinner and experienced some authentic amazing moroccon food! Always recommend staying there! We will come back for sure :)

The duvets didn’t have covers, which was a bit unusual. We were told that they were all clean and we could see that they were, but covers would be nice anyways.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely breakfast made by them as well.

The first night was very hot, we couldn't sleep, there could have been a fan. But after we change the room with windows and was excellent
