How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewVery nice, beautiful garden with pool, lots of shade, quiet. The food is tasty. The kashbah is very old, renovated, it is interesting to sleep in such a historical building.
Everything was good.

Verified reviewThis Kasbah is in a fantastic location and it felt really secure to park our motorcycle. Lovely grounds and gardens, with lots of cozy seating and a pool. There is also an interesting little museum on the grounds. We were given a lovely warm welcome and mint tea on arrival. We visited in late January and the temperature was perfectly fine and we were not cold at all. The building is old and I can imagine that it's designed to keep the interior cool on hot summer days. I think previous reviews have found this to be a little frightening and are not happy that there is no TV or modern luxuries! We loved the fact that we were staying in a Kasbah and felt privileged to experience a stay in such a place. We had dinner inside, next to a log fire. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly at all times. Breakfast was also ample and we enjoyed bread, yogurt and pancakes with tea or coffee. The room was spacious and cosy with a tall (bamboo?) ceiling and lovely Moroccan decor. The bed was hard but we have found this is to be the case in all of Morocco and something I prefer anyway. Absolute gem of a place and would certainly visit again.

Verified reviewLovely building and grounds
Room was too basic for the money we paid. No TV is quite poor . and how about putting a kettle and some tea/coffee out to make guests feel welcome Room was dark and dingy and it gave my wife the creeps tbh As i said above, it’s an amazing building and grounds, bring the rooms to that level and it’ll be a winner. For above 70 euro in marocco, we expected better than what we got

Verified reviewWe stopped in this hotel for one night on the way to Merzouga and I’m very happy with our choice. This is a lovely kasbah where you feel like a part of family. Everyone working in this hotel were very friendly and helpful. I wish we spoke French so we could chat a bit more. The hotel is hidden at the back of the town making it peaceful and yet easy to reach. The breakfast offered has everything that’s needed and it’s possible to also get dinner in the evening. Thank you for accommodating us.

Verified reviewN'Kob is a beautiful small town and much nicer than the main towns in the south of Morocco. Kasbah Baha Baha is renovated to a good standard with nice pool. Big Omar and little Omar were perfect hosts - very nice men who served lovely food with grace and a smile. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Nothing.

Verified reviewSaid was genuinely kind and welcoming. At dinner we asked for some Coca Cola but they didn’t have any so Said went to shop to buy some for us! My husband was unwell due to the heat etc and he made herb tea for him. He was so kind and we enjoyed our stay very much. The room was amazing it was like a little house and very traditional. As always Moroccan mint tea was served on arrival.

Verified reviewThis charming Kasbah located in N'Kob is a delightful place to stay. The stunning palm tree oasis nearby is also worth experiencing. Make sure to treat yourself to the delicious food and enjoy the mesmerizing view at the Auberge Et Restaurant located in town, hidden on a dirt road near the palm oasis!

Verified reviewFriendly staff, beautiful property, good food and wonderful service. Staff were kind, helpful and genuine in their hospitality and wanting to hep with any and all requests. El fresco, pool-side dining in atmospheric beber style tents lit by candles in the evening. The birdsong was a welcome change from the busy cities and the grounds were peaceful - bougainvillea and citrus tress everywhere. A very grand experience!
Would have liked to pay with a credit card vs. cash.

Verified reviewbeautiful garden in an interesting village / relaxing stop en route to the desert . nice touches like bath robes etc I’m the rooms .
staff seemed a big more formal than in most places we stayed ( probably not helped by language barriers ) . we were upgraded without being asked and ended up paying more than originally thought ( although to be fair we had 2 suites with private terraces which were still good value gif money so I didn’t complain )
