The drive to the property is off road and some of the area is currently a building site (typical for the area along the coast at the moment it seems).

Few times we ran out of water, sometimes we have hot water only and it wasn’t impossible to shower as it was boiling. And sometimes the water was too cold, or no water at all. I love their breakfast but the host can add some fresh fruits or even avocado as the fresh produce there are so cheap and give a bit more amlou as it was shared between two!

Fantastic family-run little hotel (just 5 rooms) with beautiful stepped terrace, small but deep (and heated) plunge pool, lots of nooks to sit in. Great location near the village and beach - we do think you need a car to get around properly. We enjoyed a warm welcome from Younes (echoed the next day by Andre, Sanae and team) and devoured our delicious couscous which we had pre-booked before our late arrival 10pm Sunday night. Can certainly recommend the home cooking, or the village has lots of cheap places to eat like locals, or head to Tagazhout and along the coast for more dining options. The hotel rooms were beautifully decorated with gorgeous views of the sunset and we made our terrace our home for 6 nights, complete with friendly cats and the hotel dog Luna! Great beaches nearby - the local ones attract the surf camp groups which is fun to watch, but we recommend Abouda beach around a 15mins drive away past Tagazhout each day and had the full expanse of the beach all to ourselves!! Easy to get back in towards Agadir to do a booze run at the big Carrefour/Marjane or dedicated off licenses at the entrance to the town.

The breakfast was mainly breads which were nice but adding eggs to the breakfast menu would be a good extra, even if just boiled eggs. There is also a busy road just beneath the property but the sound of the ocean drowns out the noise of the traffic. The centre of Aourir is just a few minutes walk away but it is quite dirty and seems to be just starting to develop with lots of construction underway.

We really liked the garden as well as the views from our private terrace and from the dining area. It is a beautiful setting.

Amazing location, well decorated, and lovely garden area. Food was brilliant, and so was the breakfast. They serve chilled beer, which is great when spending a lot of time in Morocco. They have some lovely cats roaming around, which is cute. Room was big, and bathroom was amazing. We parked our motorbikes outside the hotel without issue.

The garden was great. We enjoyed being able to relax at the property without having to go into the city. We spent the afternoon and evening reading in the hammock, enjoying the pool with nice background music and a beer, dinner and sunset.
