We had a chicken tagine and a meatball tagine for dinner which both were disappointing. The only down side of our stay.

The staff were amazing. Mohamed and Hammou were great and provide help and advice when needed. The location is spectacular, surrounded by limestone walls which provide a unique setting. We went for a 10km hike on a loop that starts from the hotel and goes around the limestone ridge behind the hotel. It was great.

We had an awesome 3 day climbing stay with Ibrahim at the hotel de la vallée! (One of) the only hotels within walking distance of the rocks. Copious breakfast and meals. Rooms provide ample space with sturdy beds. Nice roof and backside terrace, perfect to chill after the climbing. Highly recommended.

Evening meal was bland but we only tried the vegetarian option. Beds were quite hard.

Excellent location within the gorge, ideal for climbers. All of the staff were really friendly and always offering to help us out with anything we needed. Great value for money, especially with breakfast included.

All staff were very helpful. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Nice hot shower. Most importantly, very close to the gorge and hike. Will visit again. Our many thanks to Brahim Hamo and Grande Mouh. Oh, I forgot - fantastic & delicious breakfast with msemmen which is home made crepe served with delicious local honey as well as Berber omelette.

It's very cold in the winter and a small heater in the room would be good.

The hotel is in a fantastic location - right at the entrance to the gorge and with a patio overlooking the river - and is excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly, the room very comfortable and the breakfast is excellent.

This hotel is the closest hotel to the main part of the Gorge. We loved staying here. The staff were so lovely with our kids and the deck has the most incredible view!

Everything was perfect.

We booked this hotel as a stopover from a motorcycle tour between Merzouga and Ourzazate to see the Gorges du Todra and have some rest between the trip and it was with pleasant surprise that we arrive to this hidden gem in the mountains. When you arrive they receive you with a great friendly reception and a nice cup of mint tea - as the tradition demands. Personally for me this is the best stay in the area because you can stop your motorcycles at a safe place, get a shower and go see the gorges by foot in a few minutes, maybe you can take a bath on the river, drink a nice orange juice in the road (there are several places selling fresh juice, coffee and snacks on the road) and take a sit, relax and just breathe the mountain! After this you can come back to the hotel, go the terrace which has a great view of the mountains and just enjoy the moment. I cannot describe the serenity of relaxing here after arriving from a sand storm with big motorcycles from Merzouga. We booked for dinner and it was super! Having this amazing home cooked meal prepared for us with such great food and great service is nothing but a big privilege. Staff is very very friendly always trying to welcome us and make us feel good with everything. Thank you so much Mohamed for your great service and kindness to us. We really appreciate it! Thank you too Mahmed for your great service and local tips. About the room it was very good! Everything was clean and organized. When you are traveling with a motorcycle it’s very important to have plugs to connect all your gear like the intercoms, action cameras and mobile phones. I counted at least 6. It’s perfect. Air conditioning working perfectly. Good shower with hair dryer. If you want, there’s a washing machine on the facility. And… last but not least: very safe place to leave the motorcycles. 10/10! Hotel La Vallee felt more like a home than an accommodation and we couldn’t have chosen better for our climbing adventures in Todra. Ibrahim was a truly amazing host. He was helpful and responsive even before we got there helping us with the transportation and welcoming us when we arrived with dinner and warm tea. We were pleasantly surprised to wake up in the morning with the beautiful view of one of the main climbing craigs, Plaje de la Mansour. We were also able to reach the other main climbing spots with just a walk or hike. The breakfasts and dinners were really delicious and and we appreciated the sandwiches that they prepared for us for the climbing day. And not only Ibrahim but all the staff at the hotel was lovely and kind. Also, slept really well because the room is well equipped with thick blankets even if the nights are colder and at night you only hear the sound of river and wind. Can’t wait to return to this place!

Room as a bit outdated.

Very kind and friendly staff, we felt very welcoming. Good, large and various breakfast. Very impressive view from the room to garden and mountains. Best location - 50 m from Todhga river and entrance to Todhga Gorge. Not taking into account the price, in european standarts, we would rate it at 6-7, but it was really the best value for money we had in Morocco in 5 days.
