That we couldn’t stay longer.

This is a small Riad, in the heart of the Jewish Quarter of the Oujda Medina. The host was caring, and attentive to our every need. He personally cooked our breakfast each morning. Parking was easy, and everything you need was close at hand. We have lived in Morocco for six years, but he connected us with two of the best restaurants we have yet to find in this wonderful country. Everything you want in a place to stay.

Unfortunately dogs barking for hours on end one night so it was difficult to sleep. Basic maintenance nothing major, such as burnt out light in bathroom and limited hot water at night.

Everything was good.

We loved our time with Lotfi and his family. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast on the terrace every morning was delicious. We were upgraded to a great family room with a sunny lounge area. Thank you for a lovely stay

Everything was excellent during our stay. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. The terrace is beautiful and made the experience even better. A special thanks to Mr. Lotfi, who gave me great advice and guided me around the city. I also enjoyed a great time talking with him.

I booked this hotel for all my family for my wedding. He asked what we wanted to eat a week beforehand and On the first night they prepared the best food we have ever ate. Amazing ! Also he provided ironing and dry cleaning services for all the family, hairdressor and makeup also and henna, transfer to wedding hall and transfer to airport. The last day one taxi driver had to cancel last minute and lutvi the owner dropped them off at 4am in the morning! Everything we asked for was done and done perfectly and exceeded expectations . My family said it was the best hotel they have ever stayed at.

The owner of the hôtel and staff were very welcoming, discreet and professional. We had a royal breakfast every day with fresh products on the roof top. The location is in the centre , lots of shops and take aways, restaurants for the foodies. Although it is in the centre, you can really rest during day and night when you are in the hotel, there’s a very calm and relaxing vibe to it. We felt at ease and in total security with our children. Big thanks !

The fake flowers? And the price is just right; this is not luxury accommodation.

The owner, Mr Lofti! He was very welcoming and even arranged a small sightseeing. Very attentive and informative. Take your breakfast on the rooftop - the view from the rooftop is certainly one of the best in the city. The breakfast was very nice and generous with local specialities in addition to the normal big Moroccan breakfast. The hotel has a great location in the middle of the Medina, but don't try to find it on your own - go to a cafe and call Me Lofti; he will come and show you the way.

The location of this hotel is very convinient, just in the best and upgraded part of Oujda's medina. My room was modern, nicely decorated and very silent in the morning, a bed was very comfortable. The owner of the hotel and his assistent are very friendly! I assume, the view from the upper terrace is one of the best in Oujda. I definitely recommend to stay in the Lahlou hotel.

We truly enjoyed our stay and liked everything about the Hotel Lahlou and highly recommend anyone visiting Oujda to stay here. But we would not recommend the massage. Even though the massage lady was kind, the price to quality ratio was unreasonable. 30mins massage in a hair salon = 700 dirham per person.

We liked so many things. - Location: It’s located inside the medina, so very close to most major attractions yet very quiet at night. - Hospitality: The owner (Mr. Lotfi) and Ayoub were so welcoming and helpful. They went beyond and above to make sure we have everything we needed. Even though we left early in the morning, they prepared us breakfast and tea and took us to the train station. We felt at home all the time. - Food: Highly recommend having the tajine on the rooftop! The ingredients were so fresh, and the food was delicious. They mention in one of the pictures “we never forget your birthday”, and they mean it. Even though we checked in two days after my birthday, they surprised us with a big birthday cake at the dinner. This was so sweet and I will always cherish this in my heart.

Some electrical items like the hair dryer could need replacing.

Mustapha was a lovely gentleman and very caring and considerate. The room was lovely and had a heater and extra blanket Met the owner lutfy before I left and he was also very nice.
