Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing we didn't like
Agnes and Olivier and the entire team are fantastic hosts who welcomed us warmly and made sure we had a fantastic stay at Le Cazar throughout. The Villa and gardens are beautiful with lot's of spaces for relaxing and the large pool invites for some cooling down. We had dinner all nights and genuinely enjoyed every meal. If you are looking for an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh I highly recommend Le Cazar. It's still close enough to visit Marrakesh during the day and only a 20-25min taxi ride away from the airport. A big plus for us was having the 4 dogs around - they're friendly and make the visit extra special. Thanks a lot to the entire team at Le Cazar, we had a great time.

United KingdomThere's nothing we didn't like, although be aware that if you have an aversion to dogs, this might not be the property for you. They are all very friendly though, especially Oddsy (spelt wrong I'm sure) the large, soppy golden retriever.
Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. We were collected from the airport and Celine greeted us on arrival. A quick change and straight to the first of several freshly prepared and very tasty dinners at Le Cazar. The hotel and grounds are beautiful; a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. A great location to base yourselves for week of exploring the local area (trips arranged by Celine), as well as regular trips into the City (25 mins away, 300 Dirham round trip). For those seeking a bit of fun, I highly recommend the quad biking in the Agafay Desert. We were made to feel welcome throughout our trip, with the whole Le Cazar team being perfect hosts.

United KingdomNothing. Fantastic location. Location and room with private balcony could not have been better.
Breakfast was a good continental breakfast, lots of pancakes, muffins and fruit etc. Even catered for my English tea ! Atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed at all times. Good food. Dogs wandered in and out, the sun shone and we sipped wine under the stars on our private balcony. Taxi trip for Marrakech shopping and tourist centre only 25 mins (200MAD), same distance to airport. Located well for excursions and a fantastic view of the snow capped High Atlas mountains. Went for a great run one morning. Just before we arrived two baby goats had been born. Highly recommend small walking group in the mountains. A great pleasure to be hosted here by Agnes and Oliver, would high recommend for a family and adult holiday.

United KingdomThe shower pressure was poor and the wifi was slow (if you're there for a holiday, it's fine but don't try and work there!). The distance to Marrakech was slightly frustrating but they made cab journeys as easy as possible for you (300 dirhams return trip with one of two friendly drivers!). Honestly, nothing else to complain about at all!
Olivier and Agnes are some of the kindest and most welcoming people that we have ever met and they made the stay an absolute please. The property is even more gorgeous than the photos and all the rooms are decked out in stylish and comfortable local fittings. It was pretty good value. The food was unbelievably good and beautifully varied and it didn't feel like you were at a hotel as everyone was so friendly- no request was too much. A great place to relax, approximately 30 minutes from Marrakech.

United Kingdom- Beautiful building and pool - Great fresh food including fresh orange juice for breakfast and fresh tagines, cous cous and salads changing each day - Celine was a charming host who took great care of me and my three friends; she booked us restaurants and taxis, gave us tips and recommendations and even gave us a Moroccan mobile phone to contact her and the taxi driver if needed when we were out - Agnes and Oliver were also brilliant hosts; nothing was too much bother for anyone - The stay, food and drink was incredible value for money, much cheaper than equivalent hotels nearby
