The food is overpriced, especially the breakfast and also room cleaning isn’t done automatically unless requested which is something not mentioned anywhere

My oh my. Full disclosure: we’ve been travelling to Tata for at least the last 16 years and always stayed at a property just south of town — quite a bit more expensive, with a nice view, but after all that time, we felt like a change. We’d read that Le Relais des Sables had recently been renovated, so we took the plunge — and I’m so glad we did. We’re used to travelling around southern Morocco for both work and leisure, and have stayed in all sorts of rustic and rural places. Le Relais is a proper hotel — clean, solid, and well-equipped. Strong electricity supply with plenty of sockets, efficient hot water, blackout curtains, double glazing, and excellent, consistent Wi-Fi. It’s not luxury, but it’s reliable and comfortable — like a Moroccan version of a Premier Inn. The pool area was a real bonus, especially as our previous hotel didn’t have one. A good-sized pool with lots of sofas and seating areas to relax in. Breakfast was typical Moroccan fare, and the evening meals were simple but perfectly adequate. Bravo to the French lady (whose name we didn’t catch) and her lovely dog, Lola, for transforming this hotel. A great option in Tata.

Nice and cozy rooms and pool area, excellent dinner and very good value for money. Soraya was so helpful and even brought the jacket we forgot to Agadir where we were able to collect it. EXCELLENT BIKERS HOTEL !!!

We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant had a very limited food offer, which we didn't expect with quite a large number of guests.

Very modern yet stylish accommodation. We were surprised by how generous the whole accommodation is, considering that the city of Tata is not exactly one of the highlights for visitors to Morocco. After a long stay in Morocco, we really appreciated a normally functioning shower with reasonably hot water! Last but not least, I must mention the range of local wines and beers on offer at quite reasonable prices.

Dinner and breakfast wasn't as good as other places I've stayed at in Morocco, but for the price perfectly fine.

Great location at edge of town. Very quiet and near a petrol station for easy onward travel. Plenty of parking. Nice pool area. Room modern, spacious and clean. Food is very cheap. One of the few hotels with a bar.

Such a fantastic oasis in the middle of the desert. Modern rooms with serene design and very clean. For the first time in 26 days of Morocco bedside lights suitable to read in bed. Swimming pool and open space around very welcoming. Food of good quality served by very friendly staff. Lay out of the hotel looks like a little Medina with plants. Every room has plenty of windows for fresh air flow and airconditioning is available. Fantastic!

Breakfast could have been a bit more interesting, some fruit or sliced tomato, avocado etc (the amount of amazing beautiful fruit/vegies grown in Morocco it’d be easy to organised) we were disappointed with this, no cereal options

I just don’t understand some of the negative reviews. The place was very clean, excellent food, charming staff and good value and built incorporating Moroccan style and culture and with comfort.
