Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaGreat location in the medina, in easy walking distance of Bab Marrakech. The hotel is a former family home and is lovingly looked after by the owners. It’s amazingly quiet for being right in the hustle and bustle of the medina! The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax, and the suite we booked was comfortable, clean, and very roomy! Great place to relax and wind down after a day of shopping or sightseeing. The shower was great too, with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was typical for Morocco, and the coffee was better than anywhere else we stayed. Overall a fantastic experience. If you’re looking for souvenirs in the Medina, ask the owner! He gave me a great recommendation for jewelry and I got some lovely pieces for a good price.

MoroccoWe stayed at Riad Les Matins Bleus for 3 nights, and it was truly one of the best experiences we've ever had. Samir, his wife Meryem, and Youness were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, they made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was peaceful, the service was exceptional, and their hospitality went beyond our expectations. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone visiting.

New ZealandSuper friendly staff and this simple Riad has a good feel. In the heart of town so nowhere is hard to get to. Other guests were friendly in the cosy surrounds. Bonus was an outdoor washing line with a great sea breeze. Washing machine here too. A little hard to find at first as down a back alley which also meant it was quiet.

ItalyThe kindness of the people working here is something special. Breakfast is made fresh every morning. The location is central but quiet, staff super helpful —they’ll give you all the information you need—, very clean and amazing value over all.

CanadaA well located property in a quiet alley of the Medina, beside a small mosque. The room # 9 was very spacious, fresh and confortable with a nice terrace for seating, reading or relaxing. The bathroom was ok but the toilet didn’t work properly. Internet was very weak in the room. A carb + sugar breakfast was served every day.

Czech RepublicThe location could be described better (at least I haven't noticed any specific directions at Booking). The booking location directs you to another street and it's quite easy to get lost (I mean getting lost in Medina is a fun part as well and I'd say a necessity when in As-Sawira). :)
The location is quite convenient – right in the center od Medina. The owner is super nice, be sure to receive some tips of what to visit. :) We stayed for one night only, and even though we were unlucky with the weather, we enjoyed the stay anyways. The breakfast is quite simple yet tasty – msemen with two types of jam and honey + coffee / tea. Too bad we couldn't enjoy the rooftop, hopefully some other time. :) thanks a lot, recommended!

ItalyThe terrace could be organised better to allow more seating. The bathroom, expecially the shower, is really tiny and potentially not for tall people as the ceiling is very low.
The place is beautiful and so relaxing. The staff is lovely, everyone welcome you with a smile and it's very approachable. The location is perfect and safe. The breakfast was simple but very good. The owner gave us recommendations for dinner and lunch and both places were very good and cheap.

Czech RepublicThe bathroom door was a bit like a wardrobe and couldn't get closed fully, but it somehow added the Narnia vibe;) No toilet paper, but we didn't bother to ask for it downstairs, pretty sure they would have given us.
Great location in the centre of medina but still quiet. Beautiful space, cozy room with vintage vibe. Very welcoming staff, even though we spend just one night there. Let us leave our baggage in while we went out in the morning. The upper terrace and its fluffy resident 😺

FranceNothing we disliked, but think it's worth warning other travellers that the bathrooms don't really have shampoos or body wash. So if you need more than a little soap, remember to bring your own.
An adorable family Riad. Two of us stayed in the suite that fits up to four people, so we felt we had our own little flat. The breakfast was homemade traditional Moroccan and we felt full well past lunch. Very cosy and cute decor.

ItalyBreakfast was minimal. Could have been better. We would have liked to have been told what dinner with them was like as we were served a meal without knowing what it was in advance and we were alone in a room. There was no one else around. We had to pay cash because their credit card machine wasn't working. There were no toiletries such as soap or shampoo and only one half roll of toilet paper. We found one tiny bar of soap and had to ask for more.
We loved the decor and the location inside the Medina. We love cats so were happy to see so many and give them cat food easily purchased in bulk in the Medina. The room was simple but fine. We were welcomed with mint tea on the terrace. The lady was very nice.

United KingdomBreakfast was ok but nothing special. Was better grabbing something on the go from the stalls just outside the riad. The terrace chairs were very uncomfortable so not able to spend long relaxing outside on the beautiful terrace which was a shame.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, location is amazing right in the centre of the action. Price was reasonable and accommodation is beautiful.
