Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe fact that there was extensive building works going on , especially when we weren't aware of any before arriving. We feel, that if we book a vacation through booking.com, then at the very least, we should be made aware of any ongoing work's. Having said that, it didn't disturb us enough to dampen our break. We stayed in room 101, and had a few problems with the key card, but again, dealt with immediately when asked to rectify.
We loved the tranquility and the fact that the hotel was Very quiet at our time of visiting. The staff were very attentive, although the premises were very quiet. A special mention has to go to Kamal the young waiter, nothing was too much for him, and he went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was of a decent standard, with fresh omelettes and eggs readily available. Drink quite expensive, £5 for a bottle of Budweiser, £4 for a can of soft drinks, but alcohol is generally expensive in Agadir. Pool area is absolutely stunning, and shishi bar at night is very good also. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again, and would recommend it highly.

United KingdomI asked if I could get a room with the balcony, the guy at the reception said to me that all rooms with balcony were under refurbishment. Fair enough. 1 day later I saw all the rooms were taken by someone else which I’m sure they tipped off the receptionist. So I guess the reception staff is not being fair with me. And that’s not PROFESSIONAL at all. A part from this lovely place, lovely staff (a part from the bold man in the reception.)

NorwayHowever, there are a few things that I wasn't entirely happy with. Firstly, the hotel doesn't have an elevator, which might be a minor inconvenience for some, though it’s only a three-story building. The breakfast is decent – there are fried eggs or omelets, along with two or three types of cakes and pancakes. I would rate the breakfast a 3 out of 5. It’s good, but nothing extraordinary. One of the major downsides is that there is no tea or coffee available in the hotel lobby at any time of day, not even water. You can only get tea or coffee during breakfast, and after that, you have to either purchase it, order room service, or sit by the swimming pool, where you can order from a menu. I feel that this is something the hotel management should consider addressing to improve the guest experience. Additionally, there are no other activities or programs for guests. It’s essentially just a room to sleep in, and that's about it. In the evenings, the hotel opens up to locals, who come to enjoy Shisha around the pool. Since I stayed during Ramadan, there might be different programs or events outside of this time. Another odd rule is that visitors are not allowed in your room. If you meet someone outside and want them to visit you in your room, you are required to book an additional room for them. If you don’t book another room, visitors are not permitted, which I found quite strange. In conclusion, while the staff, cleanliness, and location were excellent, the lack of basic amenities like tea/coffee in the lobby, limited breakfast options, and the visitor policy were quite frustrating. I hope the management considers making some changes, especially when it comes to guest services and facilities.
My Honest Review of Mabrouk Hotel - March 2025 (During Ramadan) I stayed at Mabrouk Hotel in March 2025 during Ramadan. Overall, my experience was mostly positive, but there are some areas that could use improvement. The staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly, polite, and professional, which made a huge difference in my stay. The hotel itself is well-maintained, very clean, and the location is great.

United StatesNo elevator. The steps are not bad, but if you have an issue with going up and down stairs, it could be a problem. Airport shuttle you will need to pay for($24) but it is very nice.
10 minute walk to the beach and many dining options. During the week the hotel is quiet. There is a club that opens on the weekends which is fun if you like to dance.

United KingdomBreakfast was the same everyday, with a limited range of options. The music by the pool was very misogynistic and distasteful, certainly not for relaxing. The hotel was having a full renovation during our stay which we were not made aware of beforehand - the building smelt of paint the whole time and there were workmen up ladders outside our room at 11.30pm which we felt was not appropriate. The bathroom looked very sleek but was not functional. The sink was not attached to the wall properly so water didn’t drain out of it, and the shower was not watertight so flooded the bathroom whenever we used it.
The room was very clean and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, very hospitable.

IrelandBreakfast is not great for someone that avoids animal products, their only option is bread. Fruit and orange juice was only available sometimes. Felt ill eating bread and cake for breakfast each day. Ps. No alcohol served during Ramadan.

United KingdomLooks nice but there are very little sun loungers at the pool so it isn’t inviting. Pool is mostly used for a night club that is for the locals. On booking it says they have a bar with alcoholic drinks but they do not serve any during Ramadan where other hotels do so it was disappointing when you came to relax and have a couple of drinks. They also didn't have a reserved spot on the beach like other hotels did that are not located on it. It felt like I was one of very few people staying there.
Location was somewhat ok. They do have at least something going on at night if you like that. It is really a nice looking hotel. Staff were amazing and extremely nice!

United KingdomCan be noisy due to the attached club and people coming in and out all night. Depends on what kind of holiday you're looking for.
Staff were lovely and very helpful! Thank you Hassan for all the advice and places to visit. Made our trip worthwhile. The breakfast was amazing and lovely poolside. A place to visit if youre for a lively vibe. Not family friendly as it converts to a shisha lounge and club in the evening. Good location and close to the beach and restaurants.
