Probably the most beautiful place I've stayed at in Morocco so far. The host was kind and responsive, and the dinners were incredible. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Tinghir!

Tasty dinner and breakfast. The dinner was modest for the price, but it was still quite cheap. Very nice owner. Good place to explore the village area. We like it when we get a room like we ordered. Here we got a bigger one, but unnecessarily with many beds. No problem for one night ;-) It was clean and absolutely quiet!

Perfectly located Riad. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and went out of their way to assist me! A tranquil atmosphere has been created, the rooms are very comfortable, I had a magical stay amidst a beautiful setting near the Todra Gorge.

The shared bathroom was very small, the shower head needs replacing and the holder also, makes it difficult to conserve water when showering. I've osteoarthritis and the bed was very hard although the second night was better with the use of some extra pillows.

Fabien and Mouna were very nice. The place is great, the breakfast was good.

No private bathroom. It was quite cold when we arrived (so make sure to bring warm clothes if you come in November), but you will get an extra blanket to keep you warm. Common issue in Morocco, dogs barking at night - bring earplugs:)

Very friendly staff, charming hostel with a pretty terrace and garden. The name is quite fitting! Good location (close to the centre, but also easy to reach with a car). Fabian can give you great advice about the things to do in the area. He is also friends with the animals living in the neighbourhood, so be ready for some pets' affection :)

This place is a wonderful hidden oasis. We’re a group of 4 kiwis travelling around Morocco, we felt very safe and well looked after during our stay here. The staff were wonderful, kind and very accomodating. Both our dinner and breakfast were delicious!! There’s also a very cute family of cats that loved little pats and treats from us during meals. I highly recommend this place, and will definitely return if I’m ever back in the area!!

It was not easy to communicate with the host in English or French. The room was stuffy.

The ordered home-cooked dinner was excellent. The breakfast was plentiful. Parking was available. Communication was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very comfortable.

A chilled place near the Todra gorge. The staff is amazing and made us feel at home when we arrived. The dinner at the terrace in the evening was definitely one of the best of our journey so far.

We found the Retour au Calme to be an extraordinary, very atmospheric and beautiful place to stay. We received a warm welcome! Our room was cosy and clean, the view on the palmary super beautiful and the food (we had dinner and breakfast) fantastic! In the evening and morning you can listen to the birds in the palmary, which really guarantees the promised "Retour au Calme" :) also we could park our car nearby, which requires a bit of manoeuvring however. All in all highly recommended

Fabien is an amazing host. He made us feel more than at home. We had the privilege to share our lives, even if briefly. What makes a voyage interesting is not only the places you see but also the people you meet and Fabien was one of these people. Merci bien Fabien pour tous!

The location is on the outskirts of Tinghir. Lack of dedicated parking area (you barely cand park one car on the end of the narrow path.

Cosy and nice atmosphere, rooms were nicely decorated. The breakfast was great. The dinner was so delicious but the portions were small so we haven't had enough.

Laundry was very expensive, 50dh for a very small washer.

Unfortunately I was not able to sleep until 3 am due to the wild dogs constantly barking nearby. There is quite a lot of them. It’s not the fault of the hotel, but need to admit, it was a bit frustrating. Parking a car can be a bit of a struggle, yet still possible (lack of dedicated parking area).

The room was very clean, same as whole place. Great hospitality and very tasty food. We were welcomed with professional manner and felt openly welcomed. No rush during check-out. AC is available in a room, very nice garden as well. You can really feel that the host and crew is taking care of visitors.
