How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There was no facility for dinner, so we had to walk quite a way to the only street café which served food. The staff didn't tell us about it, so we had to find it ourselves.
Breakfast was disappointing and no refills for coffee.. Location was far away from anything interesting.

Nothing - really did everything we needed it to do.
Big, clean room with a comfy bed. Once they turned on the hot water the shower was excellent. Nice people running it and a good breakfast with excellent coffee and fresh orange juice.

Small plain room. Not somewhere you would stay for more than a day or two.
Hot shower. Comfortable bed. Pretty good breakfast. Used as a one night stopover on the way to Erg Chebbi and was perfect for our needs. The helpful receptionist guided us to a very good restaurant for an evening meal.

The hotel was super clean and the staff really friendly. The stay was worthy the money and the location was really good considered the distance from the actual city centre. Best part was the breakfast the morning after, really recommend!

Was great !
I was quite surprised by the quality of the hotel and the good breakfast. It was a bit cold at night but we were given a second blanket so it was fine. The hotel is well located if you have a car you can park in front of it. Quiet area and very clean

Internet is slow in the city and as such slow at the hotel too.
The hotel is a walking distance from the airport- I walked both ways. The staff are really hospitable offering hot strong black tea or arrival at the reception. Breakfast is served morocco style. There is a money exchange shop -open including saturdays - on the main street as you walk towards the public transport station. From the public transport station, I was able to hire and pay for all seats for shared taxi to Aït Benhaddou. Public shared taxis to city centre available at hotels doorstep. I was able to find eateries on the main street.

The town itself offers little by way of attractions but, as a stopover, it was great.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable room with a well-sized en-suite bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was basic as indicated by the listing but it was very inexpensive and was exactly what we needed before setting off for the desert. Breakfast was great.

I hope there is a venting fan in the bathroom, so I don't have to open the window to let the wet air out.
Breakfast is good. The air conditioner is good for heating. in the past week, I stayed in multiple hotels/hostels/apartment, this one was the best. The free parking was just across the street, in an open area, actually this is quite good as long as it's monitored.

It is a good place to spend the night, although it is not a luxurious hotel. It offers a great breakfast and a clean & comfortable room, which seems ideal for exploring the Ouarzazate area or if one is traveling for business. The internet connection was also good.

We arrived quite late so we just went to bed and had breakfast before continuing our trip to Merzouga. The room&bathroom are clean. The staff was very nice and shared tips & tricks. We can recommend. Thanks a lot!

The best place to explore the region from! Easily accessed by car as it’s not in the centre of the city. Owners are very friendly and speak French and English. Beds are good and the breakfast is lovely
