Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It had a straight flight of stairs from the door and it is pretty hidden away from street level. Difficult to communicate with staff as they had limited English. Not sure about other non Arabic languages. Wanted cash on site for taxes but didn’t have change available. Was a little noisy when other guests were going in and out of their rooms.
Within site distance of Katoubia and the Djemma El Fna. It was clean and well air conditioned. Once we figured out which WiFi to use it worked well. Beds were comfortable. En suite bathroom with shower.

The shower needed fixing. You needed to hold it yourself, which was a bit annoying.
Good base in Marrakech and is easy to locate.

There was only one sheet on the bed, it was very warm so I slept on top. There was no window. WiFi was sketchy on first day but it got sorted
The staff were all lovely, friendly, and respectful . The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable Air con was a bonus

Air conditioner so close to the beds. Move it to another wall far from the sleeping area. So noisy on the back of the hotel ..
All good anyway. Have some small things to complain about, but the price make me happy anyway...

We were asked to change rooms halrway through our stay which was inconvenient.
The rook was clean and comfortable and the location of the place is excellent.

Please make dure you book a room euth balcony for little extre. Mine had a small square at the level ceiling inside. No air circulation at all

No breakfast. No windows. Small room. Stairs to climb from outdoor to reception.
Perfect location - near all Medina attractions. Clean. Wifi, hot water, AC. Internet TV (YouTube, Netflix, etc.). Helpful staff - we got extra hangers.

A fridge outside (next to the reception) would have been great to have some cold water before the trip. Having a sound proof windows would have been the must !
Very good location. 4 min walk to the Koutoubia or Jamma Al Fnaa. Being that close mean place very very noisy (noise from the street). I have few days very quiet but on the match days, the cafe nearby were packed. The auberge on it is own was very quiet, clean and safe. CCTV everywhere, light shut down from 10-11 pm. The main entrance door is looked at night and 24/24 reception. I left my passeport etc when I was on a day tour. If you need anything, the staff is very helpful. I enjoyed talking to them They gave me good idea and tips around the town. Also, presence of the TV, you can log to Netflix or Youtube which I did after 10h trip. Many tacos restaurants, or place to eat in the same street.

It was surprisingly good for the price but a little bit noisy being so near to the street! But very friendly staff. so near to the Square 👍 would come back again to stay for sure 👌

The hotel is a bit hidden and has a closed door,...I got confused to find it was just next to me but didn't see it maybe 🤔 is my problem
The location was wonderful near all the touristic areas of Marrakech ,the staff was great 👍 and helpful..... recommend it strongly
