We booked the suite room. It was indeed beautiful. However, the bathroom facilities need to be updated/upgraded. The drainage for the shower is not working properly, takes forever for the water to drain that we ended up using the shower in low pressure, which is quite a hassle. The faucet is very far from the sink that the water splatters everywhere. The mirror is too high. Also, wish there was a functional table in the main room. The room is quite nice, generally speaking, however, given that it's a suite we expected the facilities to be up to date and fully functional.

Very helpful and friendly staffs especially the people manning the breakfast. And really good breakfast! Very spacious room with unique and nice decors. It's a lovely boutique hotel in general.

While the team were super friendly, it was occasionally difficult to communicate with staff e.g. there was often no one on the front desk around lunchtime, and we received no reply to emails enquiring about the airport transfers.

Munga Guesthouse is a great place to stay for those who are looking for a stylish & comfortable middle ground between the luxury resorts and hostels in Taghazout. The breakfasts were excellent, the bedroom (while quirky) was very comfortable with a stunning view, and the hotel bar was a lot of fun.

my trousers were stolen by the cleaner. When confronted and asked the receptionists did nothing and were not concerned. Very loud in room 2 all night due to the restaurant below- okay with ear plugs.

very comfy beds, most friendly staff, incredible breakfast and decorations. Helpful staff.

It might be tricky for people who struggle with stairs but I don’t know how you get round that! We wouldn’t have been happy if our room was nearer the noise downstairs but our room was just right!

We loved the creativity and appreciated all the hard work that has gone into the decor. I’ve never been anywhere that reflects the culture and nature of the region so well. I love the stories of each room. It’s a unique and special place. It has a wonderful ambiance.

Fantastic accomodation! The interior design was incredible. The room (14) was very spacious and comfortable. The rooftop common areas offered relaxing spaces and tremendous views of the surrounding area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Khalid made our breakfasts enjoyable and entertaining - we enjoyed his company and service very much.

The property is gorgeous, every element of design has been so well considered. The rooftops are breathtaking, serving a gorgeous breakfast with the most beautiful view. The staff are all so warm and friendly and made our stay so magical. Hatim on reception treated us so well, giving us lots of advice about Taghazout and helping with making bookings and organising travel to the airport. Munga Guesthouse made our time in Morocco so special, we’re certain we’ll be back again!

We had such a lovely time at Munga! The staff was so helpful. We travel with two little kids and first our room was right above the bar, so they kindly changed our room the next day. And bonus; our son turned two and they celebrated a little birthday cake for him and the staff sang along with happy birthday. Such a lovely experience. The rooms are so tastefully designed, and the location couldn't be any better (such amazing views)!

There is a bar below one of the buildings so it may be worth requesting to be in another building if you would be bothered by this (although we managed to sleep through it!).

Breakfast on the roof terrace was fantastic! With a lovely range of fresh options. The accommodation was perfect for our trip and location was great.

They don’t have an iron in the entire hotel! What type of hotel doesn’t have an iron?!when I asked for one, I was told to go to the laundry service across the building. Also they only have a small mirror above the bathroom sink. No other decent mirror to make sure you’re not leaving the hotel looking crazy🤷🏽‍♀️, this is particularly important for solo travelers! I also got food poisoning on my first night after eating a seafood salad and chorizo pizza at their restaurant.

Beautiful hotel with amazing ocean views and sunset views. The location is great, it was comfortable and clean. I also got a free upgrade to a suite on my arrival

Rooms are not very well soundprof, so during night and day you can hear anything around you, from people passing down the street, screaming, people leaving the building (doors make very big noises) etc…

The only issue we found was that unfortunately there was mould on the (cotton/linen?) shower curtain, and I think some of the cushions and decorations were a bit musty, and for someone who is highly sensitive to mould, this wouldn't be the best choice. They did offer to change our rooms, but the other one was similar. This isn't something you can smell, so it would be fine for most people.

The staff were amazing, suer friendly and helpful, breakfast was incredible, such a wide array of food, catering to all diets (especially gluten free and vegan), and the location was perfect, with sea views from our room, and amazing panoramic view from the breakfast buffet/rooftop restaurant.
