Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandIts was exactly what we were looking for: fresh and authentic homemade food, nicely spaced tents and the quiet of the full moon night. The host take great pride in their culture and are really happy to share it with you. We indulged in a Dromedar tour and the the part of it came surprisingly at the end, as we witnessed the love with which they attend to their animals

BrazilForget tourist places like Merzouga. This is the most authentic Berber experience you can have in the Moroccan desert. Before the trip, Younes contacted us via WhatsApp to understand which activities we would like to do. The road is not paved, but you can get there with a regular car. The tents are big and comfortable, and most importantly, they are not close to each other as you often see in other desert camps. The bathroom is very clean. The food service is incredible. As we spent two nights, we had two breakfasts (included), two dinners, and one lunch. The food was very authentic and plentiful. They take care of every detail. We did a three-hour camel tour with Mohammed, which was also a very nice activity. They asked us if we wanted to go for longer, but after three hours, it was perfect for us. I highly recommend this camp to anyone traveling to Morocco.

PolandI had the most wonderful experience at the camp - as a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly well cared for, and I would like to recommend this experience to all other travelers. Tents are standing in quite a distance from each other, which allows for privacy. Bathrooms are super clean, showers have warm water. Food is amazing! Seriously - made with love and care from fresh ingredients. I had a day trip to see the high dunes, which was the highlight of my stay in Morocco. Memories from it will stay with me forever. At night, you can see Milky Way. This is a true desert experience & I would love to recommend it to anyone looking for something genuine and authentic.

United KingdomAmazing experience. From the communication before arrival, to the 4x4 pick-up from town, to the food, to the organising the camel ride, to the campfire and music. Couldn't have wished for a better experience, we felt like family and they made us feel so welcome. A beautiful spot and beautiful people. Thank you so much for looking after us so well!

FranceI can only say the best about this place. The people are incredibly kind. I was travelling on my own as a woman and there was no other guests at the camp during my stay but at no time I felt unsafe. Everyone was very kind, welcoming and very respectful. I felt very safe since the very first moment. Younes is very friendly and very well organized. You can feel that it is a family business and led from the heart. The camp itself is beautiful! Everything was very clean and the food was amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place and I am so happy that I got to experience it.

PolandStaying at the desert camp was an unforgettable experience, with a unique atmosphere that made us feel like we were in another world. The owner brothers were incredibly helpful and friendly, the food was delicious, and the tents were clean with tidy bathrooms. United KingdomEverything was fantastic.
It was really unique experience to spend a night on the desert, it was so quiet and peaceful. We did not expect that food served there will be so amazing! One of the best meals (if not the best) we had during our trip to Morocco. You don't need 4x4 car to get near the camp, but you will need to drive very slowly and carefully. I would love to visit again.

United KingdomNot much at all.
There are only four tents to stay in. They are set apart from each other for privacy. We were lucky as there was only one man there for one night then we were the only ones in the camp for the next day and night. We were 7 km from the main road so felt definitely in the desert. There is a built toilet and shower block. Very clean. Not much water pressure but it is the desert! There is an open cabana to sit and take tea. The food is served in a larger covered tent. You sit on cushions at low tables. It’s brightly coloured and decorated with all local things.

New ZealandWe didn't like having to leave the property after two nights. We could have easily stayed longer.
An oasis in the middle of the desert. We didn't know what to expect except what we had read in the reviews. We really liked the food, the tranquillity, the atmosphere, the entertainment, and the cat.
