This beautiful calmness just outside the medina was an oasis with fantastic staff who couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was plentiful with plenty of choice the pool cleaned regularly and the rooms were spectacular to say the least, would definitely recommend and will be returning with the family 10/10.thank you for our stay

We have stayed numerous times since 2007 at Palais Dar Donab and can’t wait to return in 2026. It is a perfect place to stay in Marrakech because it is situated in a very good position for both the souks also taxis. Every member of staff is extremely pleasant and each time we return we feel like we’re going back to see our friends.

Superb and very beautiful property in the heart of the Medina. Lovely and welcoming swimming pool. The staff were so helpful and the food was excellent - highly recommended for non-residents to dine there.

Palais Dar Donab is a gem in the centre of Marrakech. It is in a perfect location for exploring the city with many attractions being within comfortable walking distance. The staff are charming and very helpful. The restaurant has a good varied menu, the food is very good, and alcoholic drinks are available, which is unusual in the city. We felt very fortunate to find this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palais Dar Donab Riad. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the old Medina, giving easy access to the souks and other historic sites, yet conveniently close to one of the main entry points to the Medina. This made it much easier to get in and out, especially when heading to the more modern parts of Marrakech. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the Riad itself is beautiful and clean. Housekeeping was attentive and consistent throughout our stay. One thing to keep in mind for budget-conscious travelers: there is no self-service laundry room. Laundry is done by the item, which can add up quickly if you’re on a longer trip. Overall, it’s a beautiful place.

We were very happy with the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious. The breakfast was great. THe hotel was very well positioned within Marrakech. We stayed for two nights and all went very well. We had our own dedicated internet connection for the room.

We loved everything about our stay at Palais Dar Donab. Amazing location within the medina, lovely peaceful pool and inner courtyard. We stayed in the Royal Suite which was just incredible- the nicest place we have ever stayed in. All of the staff were friendly and attentive- we will definitely be back!

There sewage smell coming. So need to take care of that. Otherwise everything else was perfect.

Located in the Medina but with easy access to Taxis and the rest of Marrakech, Dar Donab is an absolute gem. Our room was truly palatial, quiet and impeccably clean. The bathroom was fabulous. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was abundant and excellent. The lovely courtyard with the pool, the chirping birds and the blossoming orange trees were such a treat. It is a stunning bit of old-world magic in and out. We will no doubt return.

We did not dislike anything.

The staff and the overall welcoming was amazing. Needless to say that the location right at the ancient market and in the middle of the historic area was exactly what we were looking for. The building itself is a former Marrakech palace that is beautifully maintained and in itself spectacular. I will not forget to mention how friendly and accommodating the personnel has been. In summary, the Palais Donab is a highly recommendable destination.

Great location at the edge of the medina. Both the quality of the breakfast and meals within the restaurant were excellent. All staff were very polite and helpful. Size of the room was also excellent.

The lighting in the bathroom and entry was dim in the Royal Suite, but I wouldn't let this stop me from staying there again.
