Location was great, although one must arrive walking the last stretch, but not too far. The colors and decoration stunning.

Beds were quite firm but the AC worked great and was quiet. The room was extremely quiet.

The hotel's location is very good and very appealing for travelers. Although the hotel is very centrally located, you can't hear any outside noise in the room. Our room was large and spacious. However, overall, we are dissatisfied with the hotel, the service, and the value for money. Even before we arrived in Marrakech, I asked via email whether an airport-hotel transfer was offered and what the price would be if the hotel offered a pick-up service. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a response. I booked a more expensive option with an earlier check-in, starting at 9:00 a.m., because we landed in Marrakech at 9:00 a.m. Nevertheless, our room wasn't ready, and we had to wait until 12:30 p.m. We weren't offered an alternative. When we got to the room, we unfortunately discovered that there were still leftovers from the previous guest, including bowls of nuts, raisins, and fruit that had been used by the previous guest. We found open and half-used water bottles in the refrigerator, and no new, unopened bottles. When we asked the hotel staff about this, they told us that the bottles in the refrigerator were neither open nor used and didn't want to listen to us at all. Generally, the room was cleaned over the days, but never completely; there were always things missing, like towels, soap, and unemptied trash cans. The breakfast was very disappointing. Bad coffee, unlovable Lipton tea bags. When I addressed all the points to the staff and wanted to give them constructive feedback instead of making it public I was not listened to and was confronted with counterarguments.

Really tremendous riad...we will definitely stay again on our next trip. Houda, the guest services agent, was absolutely wonderful as was everyone else. A really stunning riad.

our room had only a courtyard view...next time we will pick a room with an outside window as well.

The location was good. The staff were polite and friendly. Big bed. Lots of space.

Despite elevator there are lots of steps. Not wheelchair friendly. No shaving mirror in bathroom. Breakfast poor. No yogurt, no cereal, no fresh fruit (except sliced orange), poor range. Our one evening meal experience was also not good, alcohol on the menu but there was none available, of the six desserts on the menu only one was available - there were only two other people dining! Shower in bathroom leaked. Generally shabby look throughout the Riad. I understand it is an old palace and expected original features to be worn and it adds to the character of the building but the whole place needs a re-vamp.

The location was good. The building had a faded glory to it.

We didn't like the lack of outside windows. Most of all the breakfast was terrible. The bread was always stale, and usually most of the food had the feeling of either being produced the day (or two) before, or had been taken out of the freezer. The cook was even unable to consistently make an eatable omelet, with raw egg in the middle. It takes a poor chef to be able to do that!

Consistent with its name, palatial, a la late 19th c opulence of design, ornament, and scale. Every surface—tiles, walls, tables, ceilings—a canvas for artisanal creativity. Picture the set of The English Patent: romantic!

Needs better light (for makeup) in bathroom

The RIAD was beautiful and located right in the Medina. The markets were just 50m away. The staff were exceptional - friendly and efficient in every manner. the area in general had a nice friendly vive and the Medina is nuts in terms of scooters moving through the crowds - all part of the charm

The restaurant did not seem to offer dinners and the wifi (along with most locations I believe) was very poor. So bring a good data plan as you will need maps to avoid getting unbelievably lost. If you have the option, get a good data eSIM before travelling.

Great place to stay with such beautiful interior! The room was spacious, clean and with all required amenities! The staff was super friendly! The location was the best part as it was right in the middle of the souk with all the main attractions at a walking distance, for example the Ben Yousaf medrasa, Le jardin secret, bacha coffee were all 5-15 mins walk away. Everything else was a short 10-15 min taxi ride away.

    Everything was great

Lovely hotel with a nice, historic feel to it. Helpful reception.

The roof terrace was lovely, but the service was bizarre, as if staff were surprised there were any customers. Staff were nice, but seemed completely unmanaged, meaning that service was extremely erratic.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and fantastic location. the roof terraces were a gorgeous peaceful oasis that you could retreat to after the busy Medina. We had an issue where our lights went out in the room after a storm twice (2 storms). The hotel did their best to fix the issue, gave us a new room in the end and we were offered a complimentary dinner in the hotel which was absolutely delicious.

The wifi was awful but it was awful in all of Marrakech.

Good location, suite is nice and spacious, dinner was marvellous!

The hotel was supposed to arrange for a taxi from the airport, which didn’t show up and hotel couldn’t be reached (in the end compensated for with a dinner at the hotel). Once arrived at the hotel, we were directed to our room by someone who didn’t speak English, there was no WiFi. Our suite had a glass see-through door (which we could lock), but the wooden doors couldn’t be locked (and hence it felt a little weird that everyone could just look into our room), so the arrival was a bit harsh. The day after Aurelien showed us around and bought a local SIM card for us on our request. He was super nice and this made the whole experience a lot better! Thanks again!
