It’s tooooo far from anything. The breakfast is very low quality. I must say the staff are nice but the rooms need maintenance especially the AC.

The hotel could do with some maintainence and an extra clean as the facilities are well built and some extra care could improve a traveller's stay. Quite disappointed that or bath was not draining water out and the problem could not be fixed and we were moved to another room which was a downgrade from what we had paid for and didn't have a bath. I had especially booked rooms with a bath. The hotel refused to give us a refund as housed in a cheaper room then suggested moving us to yet another room. I must say the staff member we spoke to was quite rude and made attempts to try and convince us that all the hotel rooms were the same contrary to what is described on booking.com and the hotel website. Money aside, a simple apology for the inconvenience caused would have been appreciated.

The hotel is lovely and in a quite location. Great pool. Most of the staff were accommodating and gave good service. We arrived late as our plane was delayed and we were able to check in at a late hour. Loved their lamb tagine on the night we dined at the hotel !

Instead of one king bed, they use 2 Single beds which is not comfortable.

Even if it’s not close to city center, I liked my time there, the breakfast and room service.

The location is a real problem… There is no shuttle back-and-forth from the Hotel as described, you have to rent private taxis which means that every day you are going to be spending €50 in terms of transport to get you into the centre Beautiful property, but could do with some updating

The property itself was very pleasant, but a little could do with some updating The staff were helpful Breakfast was good, but was actually really Continental breakfast, the only hot things were scrambled eggs and pancakes The food at lunch and dinner was very good, compliments to the chef

At reception there was 2 employees who worked 24hrs shift the one we met when checking in was very unprofessional as the hotel was far from Marrakesh we asked if they can book a cab on one of the days we was there he laughed said its far and will be expensive. when asked to do it anyways he said you'd be better off trying to hail a cab. the hotel was based of a highway with nothing else around the second receptionist was amazing, polite and helpful. He helped us get a cab All in all great hotel showing its age now a bit but for the price cant complain at all

Pool was clean and large comfy bed staff for the most part all very kind and helpful

It certainly isn’t a 5 star! Does need a bit of updating! Sun loungers need changed as ripped! Our room 11 the shower flooded the floor on every use. No tea/coffee in room! The photos are a bit of a let down as rooms certainly don’t look like what you see on the site.

It was clean and the waiters were friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day. Food was good.

Staff never available - multiple people staying there including us would be wandering around trying to find staff outside of mealtime hours. Reception is hardly ever staffed. Compared to other places where on entry, tea would be offered, valet parking service included etc - this is the service expected for a 5* place. No mocktails/ cocktails on the bar menu - just juice, beer and wine. No iron available to use Parking is not free - we had to pay 30 DHR for the 6 days we spent Wifi in the room was terrible but fine in and around the grounds No gym/ fitness area 20 min drive from Marrakesh old town - nothing else nearby (no restaurants, no shisha, no atm) as just off a highway. We had a car but on the highway into city centre there is a police checkpoint and they'll randomly stop you for "speeding" but in reality just want a 200 DHR bribe.

Room was very nice, large with a living area - very clean and every day cleaned extremely well by housekeeping staff Extremely aesthetic riyad with a large outdoor pool and very picturesque in evenings and night-time Pool is open 24h Spa/ Hammam available but we didn't use it - there is no salon though

unfortunately the pictures are very misleading, the pictures featured were taken just after the remodel in 2011 and a lot of the things captured in the photos are no longer. the menu is also lacking immensely in any detail regarding allergens and has no description of what anything is. it is also very random and small and there is a fixed price for 3 courses which is a lot of food to consume considering 3 courses is the only option for lunch and dinner. unfortunately this hotel also lacks in good communication through the English language. I felt many times throughout our stay and struggled in communicating with the staff. Furthermore, as for the rooms there was no phone to ring reception to have room service, the duvet cover had chocolate stains on it, compared with the pictures, the room was identical however, it was dated by at least 10 years with rotting wood around the sink, a TV that didn’t work and empty fridge. other amenities mentioned a bar however, there was no such thing, the only alcoholic beverage they seem to have was wine and the occasional beer. The staff didn’t understand what a cocktail was. unfortunately, the location in person seems much further out than displayed on a map. One of the nights we went to Nobu, and although only a 12 km taxi journey, it cost us €40 return with the Hotel Driver

the property is very peaceful, the property itself is very boutique and serene, the pool area is stunning and the grounds are very beautiful with all the plants!

Since we set our expectations correctly, we weren’t surprised by the fact that the service was incredibly slow, the installations were somewhat poorly maintained and the food choices were very limited. For our 4 night stay, none of this mattered. Our only complaint was the price of the taxi service in to Marrakech - many hotels outside the city offer a free shuttle - here we had to pay 20€ each way, which is more expensive than European taxi prices for the same distance (12km). One day we decided to share a taxi with another couple and were told to pay double the price, which was not kind. The hotel would be deserving of its four star rating if the level of Moroccan hospitality which we know is so fantastic in this country (it was our 6th visit), were improved at Palais de l’O.

A beautiful building with very beautiful gardens. We wanted somewhere close to the city but far enough to enjoy some quiet relaxation away from the noise and pollution of the Medina. The rooms were very nice, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was adequate - everything was just as we expected it to be (we didn’t expect much, having read some of the previous reviews).

Breakfast offered limited options and was overall poor in quality. We had lunch there once which was average. The rooms and rest of the hotel look better in pictures. Pool was cold. The worst thing about the property is how far it was from the city centre! It is actually situated outside Marrakech and about a 30-40 minute drive into the city centre which resulted in a considerable amount of our holiday budget and time being spent on travelling.

The staff were polite and did their best to accommodate us. The bed was very comfortable. the property was quiet and peaceful.

Disappointing Experience for the Price – Not Worth It We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel, especially considering the high price we paid for a room with breakfast included. Upon arrival, we were welcomed at reception and shown to our room — so far, so good. However, our first night was a nightmare. The air conditioning unit was damaged and made a loud noise all night, like a truck engine. Sleeping was nearly impossible, and the room was unbearably hot without it. The next morning, we raised the issue with the front desk and were moved to another room with a working AC. This was appreciated, and we hoped things would improve. The breakfast that day was d very tasty— a good selection of hot and cold items, fresh fruit, cereal, and everything was nicely laid out on a large dining table. Unfortunately, our relief was short-lived. Around 1am, we went to the reception to ask for water, but no one was there. We came back 30 minutes later and still couldn’t find any staff. That was concerning. The biggest shock came the next morning — the breakfast table was completely empty! When we asked the waiter, we were told they don’t prepare a full breakfast when there are five or fewer rooms booked. This was never mentioned when we booked, and it’s completely unacceptable at this price point. The chef eventually made us a very basic breakfast: three slices of ham, some cheese, a bit of bread and croissant, eggs that were clearly reheated from the day before and overcooked, a small fruit salad, a slice of cake, and a yogurt. For the rate they charge, this was appalling. This process took over 40 minutes we started breakfast with half a slice of cake each. The pool is large and clean, which is a plus. But if you don’t have a car, the location is quite inconvenient — far from major attractions. The airport is about 35 minutes away, and Koutoubia Mosque is around 29 minutes (not during peak traffic). Overall, the experience did not justify the cost.

I never leave negative reviews but I really wish I’d read some about the property before booking because I probably wouldn’t have. Firstly: don’t be fooled by the photos. I booked on the basis of pictures that turned out to be taken in 2011 when the hotel was obviously under different management. The hotel looks nothing like this now. The grounds have been totally neglected, as has the furniture in the common areas. It’s such a shame as it looked so beautiful. All of the fountains have been drained of water and the grounds have been left to wither, it was rather sad. Location: the property is much further than described from most attractions. Would have been fine but it’s described as the Palmeraie area which it isn’t. It’s also the first place I’ve stayed outside the Medina that doesn’t offer a shuttle service. We spent £100 on taxis during our stay. Facilities: I booked because of the spa as described here and on the website. The jacuzzi was drained. I was told it was “under maintenance” which I didn’t believe. Again, a beautiful spa facility left vacant to save money. The sauna was hit or miss whether anyone would turn it on. I had to battle each time to have them turn it on. One member of staff literally lied and said it was, again “under maintenance” and then said “fine, we’ll turn it on”. Once using the sauna, I had to argue for use of a towel. I then wasn’t allowed to leave the spa area with it and had to change into clothes there and then before I could leave. The swimming pool is ICE COLD and therefore unusable. Again, no money spent on heating it so it could be used and not just visible in photos. Food: breakfast was nice but it was sadly understaffed even though the hotel appeared to be full. The restaurant has NO VEGETARIAN OPTION and the tajine didn’t come with cous cous, unheard of in Morocco. We couldn’t quite believe it. I’ll finish by saying I don’t attribute this to any of the staff personally as they seem to be following protocol.
