If you love art you would adore this place. It has an impressive art collection everywhere, in every corner. I love the architecture, the furnishings, it's all a beautiful jewel. The gardens are well kept, the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Our room could do with a refurbishment, especially the bathroom. Our daughter's room was newly refurbished so it was fine. It's an old hotel and I guess some areas need some TLC.

The place is stunning and it has more art than you would ever see in a museum or art gallery. Beautiful architecture and furniture. Well cared for gardens, great food, friendly staff and a very relaxing stay.

Our sweet could do with a little refurbishment, especially the bathroom. Our daughter's sweet was newly refurbished and it was great.

The hotel itself is breathtaking and the original suite we selected was just so beautiful, but unfortunately due to an unexpected event we had to relocate to another suite. The location and parking was great, not too close but also not to far from the city.

They can do a better job at keeping the surrounding a bit more cleaned and upkeep.

This accomodation was fabulous, it was luxurious, peaceful, friendly and authentic without being stuffy. The rooms were a really good size equipped with everything you would need. Location was not too far from all the action in The Medina. Employees seemed really relaxed and happy to help you with anything.

    Leaving 😫

The architecture and interior design was great. The pool seating area was nice and the suite we booked was big. The dogs are SO CUTE!

The pool was not heated. The breakfast is the same everyday (mainly different types of bread and egg EVERYDAY) and despite requesting different food they did not offer us anything else. The service is very slow despite the place being pretty small. The location is very off the city and taxis are expensive.

Absolutely loved the buildings and decor, very authentic. All the staff except the female manager were so helpful. It is a small and friendly place where you get the personal touch. Food excellent, amazing breakfast.

I didn’t like that a stranger sat outside the room in the chair on the terrace for two nights. The female manager overcharged us on the city tax. On the Booking.com invoice it stated £19, however we were charged 300 dirhams. I questioned it and asked for an invoice but the lady refused.

Palais Mehdi offers Old World charm just outside a bustling city. It is an oasis of calm, charm, and peace.

    Everything was perfect.

Beautiful building, big manucured garden, very large pool. Not many rooms, so feeling quite private with very attentive staff. In summury very relaxing holiday, away from frenetic life in dowtown Marrakesh.

Bathroom a bit old fashion and could do with some refreshing.

This is a real palace. The suites are distributed in a large garden, so it takes minutes to walk from our room to the main lobby. It even deserves half a day for the decorations in the main lobby. Overall quite a memorable accommodation for me. The location is away from the old city, quite yet not so convenient. I will highly recommend it as a second stay after one in the old city. That brings experience of two different worlds. The suite is incredibly spacious, with two large beds in two separate bedrooms, besides the living room. Moreover, one garden in front of the living room. and the other courtyard behind the bedroom! Breakfast is good, although not so much choice, but enough for me. I love this place and wish to come back again in the future.

The facilities are kind of out-of-date. Water in our bathroom did not flow down normally and the floor got wet after shower. The light in one of our bedrooms did not work. While these issues may be annoying for most people, I understand that a big renovation could break the old-day atmosphere of this palace, which is precious compared with the modern thing. Instead, I would suggest to regularly maintain the facilities.

    1. Hospitality was top notch . 2. The peace and serenity . You don’t feel like leaving once you’re in there. Very big people and a very big garden so green and lush . 3. Room sizes are big and value for money .

The wardrobes inside are very old . Need a touch up .

Breakfast area by pool is lovely but had issues with lots of bees around the tables - so they could figure out a way to manage that better, we elected to sit inside on second day as it was an issue for our kids. Rooms were really large and plenty of storage. Comfortable beds. Staff friendly.

Just a few items of repair needed here and there, toilet flush handle not firmly attached to the wall, shower handle quite stiff to adjust. No light curtain - so we had to close full curtains of our room for any privacy as there were staff walking / gardeners working around the grounds near our ground floor room. Service could be slow. Pool area - needs a steady supply of pool towels. Ideally wanted a twin room for our children. There was no option to set the beds up like this but they did make up a sofa bed.
