The pool was only open during the day, until 5pm, though on some days it closed as early as 4pm. Since we spent most of our days out sightseeing, we were really looking forward to unwinding with a refreshing swim in the late afternoon. It was disappointing to find it closed so early, especially since the pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. That did take a bit away from the overall experience. Also the pool seems much bigger on the photos. In fact it is smaller, but that wouldn't bother had we been actually able to use it!

The breakfast was great, with great selection including some more traditional dishes which we loved. The staff were generally very friendly, which we appreciated. One personal observation: in the evenings, the bar area didn’t seem to run very efficiently. There were noticeably more staff than customers at times, yet table service wasn’t offered. We were happy to walk up to the bar each time, and the team were always lovely and welcoming when approached directly. That said, we probably would have ordered more if there had been attentive table service. It felt like a missed opportunity for the hotel to upsell and enhance the guest experience. Some review mentioned noisy rooms, but that wasn't our experience. The room was slightly smaller than expected but overall good.

Hotel in downtown location so easily accessible for everything. Very good value for money. Khadijah was very kind to organise our private transfer to the "blue city". Also thanks to Ahmed for his recommendation for the local restaurants.

The pool is only open until 18:00, which makes it useless - I want to use the pool in the early morning and late evening. The hotel had an excessively loud pool party and/or badly sound-proofed windows. We had to switch rooms at midnight to be able to sleep.

This hotel (facilities, breakfast, pool) would be excellent, but I'm downgrading for the reasons mentioned below.

The Wifi - in the hotel it was ok, however at the pool area it was terrible and when you wanted to pay for food and drinks the contactless machine wouldn't work. It's such a small detail that could easily be fixed.

The staff at the pool area were exceptional, specially the waiter who always did everything and more to help.

The big road the hotel is on is a bit noisy at night and the lights from the street come in to the room

Close to the best local restaurants and only a 15 min walk from the medina. Staff were very helpful :) good internet, no glitch with remote working at all. Bonus is the really lovely breakfast room, nice way to start the day

Lovely authentic hotel with amazing staff . The pool area was lovely and also quiet . Not many sun loungers but easy to get one. We arrived very late on a Saturday night and the receptionist was so helpful checking us in and helping to solve our WiFi problems ( end of the world for 3 teenagers 🙄) . Location is great for everything . We liked it but some wouldn’t - there’s a loud Disco on Saturday night for locals until very late but we were made to feel very welcome .

The location was excellent, situated in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, as well as close access to the medina. Most importantly, it felt very safe at night. The breakfast was rich and delicious, served in a restaurant and bar that offered a fantastic view of the sea. The staff was attentive, and the room was comfortable. While it may not be a luxurious option, it certainly offers good value for money.
