We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. United KingdomNothing negative to say, everything was amazing!
Our stay at Riad Adarissa was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed. The riad is conveniently located just off a main street, but quiet enough to provide a peaceful retreat from the medina. Its location was easy to find once shown the way, especially with the help of Haddou, who met us outside the medina and assisted with our luggage. The hospitality was one of the highlights of our visit. On arrival, we were greeted with a warm cup of traditional Moroccan mint tea and given a map, along with helpful tips on how to navigate the area. The staff were incredibly accommodating, offering guided tours and trips without any pressure and ensuring we could explore comfortably on our own. We did book a day trip to Chefchaouen through them, and it was an excellent experience at a great price, giving us peace of mind knowing it was arranged by the riad. Beyond the outstanding service, the riad itself was beautiful, with stunning Moroccan decor and a lovely terrace offering breathtaking views over the city. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the home-cooked dinner made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients was truly memorable. We were even given a packed breakfast for our day trip, despite breakfast already being included in the Chefchaouen tour. A special thank you to Fatimzohra, Noureddine, Hanane, and Haddou for making our stay so seamless. Haddou was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived, assisting us with getting SIM cards and offering support throughout our time in Fes. Choosing Riad Adarissa was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made for our trip, turning our stay into something unforgettable. We felt at home throughout our time there and would highly recommend it.

Germanynothing to complain about. everything was perfect.
My stay at Riad Adarissa was exceptional. The accomodation is inside the Medina of Fes and the riads design and decoration is stunning! my top-floor room was authentic and elegant, and the rooftop terrace provided unforgettable sunset views over the city. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the staff. Nourredine and Haddou welcomed me like family sharing thoughtful recommendations, insider tips, and fascinating historical context that brought Fes to life. I was also traveling solo and felt very safe at the Riad. I can’t recommend Riad Adarissa highly enough.

United StatesIt wasn’t a problem for me, but something to be aware of: Not an option for anyone with mobility issues. There is no vehicle access to the hotel. You will walk a few minutes up inclined winding pedestrian streets. Be prepared for narrow, steep stairs as well. However, the staff will pick you up from the taxi and carry your bag to the hotel, and back out to the taxi at the end of your stay as well. They’re very helpful.
I stayed in the suite which was huge and so beautiful. Its location is amazing if you’re interested in staying inside the medina. It’s located directly off of the main market street. The breakfast is good and the dinners we had at the hotel were delicious, though a little pricey.

GermanyA bit of a hard sell when it comes to 'recommending' a nearby restaurant (or actually taking you there, asking you if you have been there, etc) - this is not what I expect from a hotel when I ask for advice. Also instead of advice how to get to the airport on a budget, an offer of 20-something € taxi as the only way of getting to the airport from Medina (which we took for the peace of mind but felt a bit of bad aftertaste). These are not deal breakers, rather something that could be improved (less hard sell, more genuine helpfulness will help you get more guests).
Great location, few minutes to the Blue Gate, just off one of the two main shopping streets in Medina. Very nicely renovated riad, breakfast was included and it was the usual Morrocan fair, but decent. They prepared packed breakfast when we were going on a trip and leaving early.

United StatesWe liked everything about the property!
We felt at home ever since we were welcomed by Mr Haddou and his family, who took great care of us. He helped coordinate our day trips, prepared dinner onsite on our first day at Fez and arranged pick- ups and drop- offs. It made our first visit to Morocco memorable and stress free. I can’t thank Mr Haddou enough for his warm hospitality and cheerful demeanor. Also, the manager Mr Noureddine was also very helpful and accommodating.

CanadaRiad Adarissa was absolutely lovely. Clean, pretty, and a calming oasis in the bustle of the Fes medina. The people were wonderful, especially Haddou, who met us at the medina gate and personally escorted us to the riad. And what a riad! The trickling fountain and flickering candles in the courtyard are only rivalled by the view from the stunning private terrace. The ultra-hot water was a bonus, too. Haddou looked after our every need while we were at Riad Adarissa, connecting us up with a medina guide and recommended restaurants. He always made sure we had a personal guide to accompany us throughout the medina, to ensure we didn’t get lost. His French is excellent, his English is good, and he was happy to teach us a little bit of Arabic as well. He and Fatima prepared beautiful breakfasts for us, and on our final day he personally escorted us up to the medina gate and found us a taxi to take us to the train station. What a terrific way to experience Fes. Thank you, Riad Adarissa ❤️

IndonesiaIt would be great to build a soundproofer in the room because sometimes we can hear people opening the door or people talking in the hall.
The location was good. It's only around 200 m to the Parking Ain Azliten. ATM and most of the attraction was in reasonable walking distance. The place was surrounded with the small souvenir shops that have more reasonable price compare with the shop nearby the Blue Gate. The interior of the guest house was amazing. The room was small but the furniture's choices was great so even we can open our big luggage without problem. The bed was comfortable. Our room was being cleaned everyday, which is surprising for a guest house class. However, the best part from all were the staffs. All people were welcoming. The breakfast was made with love. Mr. Haddou was really helpful. He helps us to bought something in the market so we won't get scam. He help us with our baggage to the Blue Gate! He connect us with other guests that staying there too! So we can share our stories. Definitely a worth place to stay in Fes.

United KingdomNothing. On a side note check that the upstairs rooms are suitable if you have mobility issues. This is a traditional Riad with high steps.
The Riad was a beautiful home from home, in a side road off the Talaâ Kebira and 5 minutes from the blue gate. The location was quiet with excellent view of the medina rooftop from the terrace, yet you can enjoy the excitement of bustling through the medina streets with an array of shops, restaurants and sites on your doorstep. The Riad team were excellent hosts, informative, kind and generous. Haddou and his wife were super friendly and provided delicious meals and good company. Nourredine was a wealth of knowledge. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with an array of artisan breads, pastries, honey, olives, cheese etc. we had a delicious couscous on Friday. The Riad is tastefully decorated and our suite was comfortable and spacious. We would definitely return!

United StatesRiad Adarissa is conveniently located in the Fes medina. But, the real reason to stay here is the exceptional hospitality. Haddou went out of his way to make everything enjoyable, from the moment he met us to the time we left. His wife, Hanane, was the chef. We chose to eat our dinners at the Riad, and it was a great decision. The meals were fantastically prepared and it gave us more time to enjoy the company of Haddou, Hanane, and the gracious owner of the Riad Adarissa, Jean Claude. When traveling, it's the people you meet who make things special. And the people at Riad Adarissa made everything special and memorable for us. Highly recommend! Our room was adjacent to the dining room and was perfect for us. Others might prefer an upstairs room. The terrace gives a nice view of Fes. A Moroccan Breakfast was included and we enjoyed it.

The best stay in Fes is at Riad Adarissa. The Riad is very close to the Medina and they can also help you organizing daily trips to the closest touristic attractions. Haddou was the best host we could ever asked for, he helped us organizing everything we needed and he was always very nice and polite. breakfast is excellent :)) I will recommend this Riad to my friends too!

Czech RepublicThe room we had was spacy, but no window other to the inside atrium. Not a problem for many, but we appreciate natural light. The riad is nice, comfy, but not much privacy due to limited sound proofing. Tight stairs to get in and out, not for disabled people or heavy luggage.
Great staff, one of the best breakfast we had in the same type of accommodation, convenient location inside medina. Traditional, just handful of rooms. Nice terrace with look over the Fez medina. Riad is in a side street just dozen steps from main medina street, expect tiny streets and dusty, not well maintained surroundings. Typical for medina, however. Overall we got what we wanted - local experience in Fez.

ItalyToo expensive (in all the other riad the dinner was about 10/12€ for person, here 20€ for person!! the breakfast was always included with the night but not here: 7€ for person), moreover the house manager miscounted (he just made us pay for 1 breakfast and we were 2) and we had to pay later for HIS mistake. It was just 7€ but it irritated me a lot because it was our last day and I kept just the exact change in dirham to pay the taxi driver and to let Haddou a little tip and we had to left to Haddou less just because the house manager made a mistake and the house manager was not even at the riad and we can't talk to him to explain to him the situation. It was very annoying.
Haddou was one of the kindest, welcoming and gentle person we met in our holiday in Marocco. Thank you very much. The dinner was very good (especially the chicken pastilla).
