Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt would be nice to have some fruits offered during breakfast as it was quite carb-heavy. I preferred the white towels over the black ones offered. I just feel that hotels should use white as it's easier to spot dirt. There should be more storage in the room; there was one small clothes rail which was quite low, meaning that if I had steamed my clothes and hung it overnight, the bottom would get dirty as my dress was quite long. I had to hang them on the room door through the upper lock hook. FYI for anyone booking external tours, use Riad Ksar Anika as a pickup point as many operators state that they cannot drive to Riad Agdal, and will try and get you to walk further than necessary.
Halima and Ibrahim were the kindest, most efficient and helpful hosts we've ever encountered. They set up breakfast earlier than the usual time as we had a tour that day and were always on hand for any enquiries and support. The room was clean, with a spacious bathroom and daily cleaning offered. The location is great, a reasonable 10 minute walk to the town square and away from the hustle and bustle.

United KingdomThere are not many cons to mention only thing is that maybe the breakfast can be improved with more variety of options. Maybe some fruits or fruit yoghurts/granola to give some variety for guests. From what I've seen many guests agree that having to message to Riad when arriving back late so they can let you in was a little inconvenient both for us and the lovely staff, who never once complained if we had come back late but we did feel bad to disturb them late at night.
Our stay at the Raid Agdal Royal & Spa was great, all of the staff were welcoming and were open to help whenever we needed which we really appreciated and made our trip stress free especially in the morning of our flight when we needed our tickets printed last minute, one of the male staff members helped us and printed them out with no hesitation. The breakfast was lovely - we had Moroccan tea and orange juice along with some cakes and bread and jams & honey. The Riad is tucked away in a quiet part of the Medina, only a 16 min walk away from Jemaa el-Fna , can feel like a long walk after a long day but is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle. The Raid itself is nice and quiet has character, has a small pool which we utilised many times during the heat. The cherry on top for me and my siblings was the little white kitten that the riad staff look after, we created a special bond with him and it's nice to see cats being taken care off.

United StatesThere was a mixup in communication when our family arrived the next day. It appeared that they did not have enough rooms even though we had a confirmation for 2 extra rooms. However, after haggling back and forth that we didn't need to pay for a transfer for them because we didn't order one, about 10 min later, we were told they had their rooms available which unfortunately set the tone for the rest of the stay.
The location was about a 10-15 min walk into the main shopping area but was quiet. The rooftop was beautiful and to arrive with a place to rest was nice. It has beautiful views. The room was comfortable and although it was hot, there seems to be a/c but we couldn't find the remote which was a bummer but it was fine. If you go when it's hot, make sure to locate the remote and that the a/c is working.

United KingdomThe staff were lovely and very friendly and nothing was too much bother, particularly Ibrahim and the young woman who worked there on reception and also served breakfasts. Delicious breakfast served each morning on the beautiful rooftop garden. The menu changed each day. We asked for an earlier breakfast two mornings and these were provided readily. Beautiful spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Everything was spotless and the rooms smelled of orange blossom. The riad was a little quiet oasis away from the busier streets but was very close to the central areas on foot. We would definitely return.

United KingdomThis might be the same across all Riads, I’ve never stayed at one before but you do hear a lot from the outside and other rooms. It didn’t bother me as I sleep with earplugs but if you don’t and is a light sleeper you might struggle sleeping. The spa area seemed to have some areas of black mold. Would be nice if they accepted card payments, they did accept PayPal.
Great location and gave calm in a hectic city, the moment you step into the Riad it immediately gave a sense of calm and silence. Very nice environment in the Riad. The staff were so helpful and friendly and helped with any questions we had. They were able to accommodate for early breakfast when we had excursions starting at 7am which was appreciated! Location was nice and not in the middle of a hectic market which we appreciated a lot, it was still central and we walked to most places.

United KingdomBreakfast could have been slightly more varied but not a major problem. Water in room would have also been a nice touch but again not too much of an issue as there is a shop around the corner.
Really lovely Riad in a perfect location - close enough to all the main areas yet in a slightly quieter location. Staff were excellent & couldn’t do enough for you.

United KingdomMy only comment is that hopefully Marrakech has card machine so it’s easier to make payments if you have no cash in hand, it’s not just this Riad but it’s not common to some establishments yet. Other than thay, we truly enjoyed our stay.
Everything. If you are going to Marrakech I recommend you coming to this riad. It was very clean and it smells freshed and relaxed. This is a smalm riad of 6 rooms situated near the Palace Bahia and the food market and souqs, it was very convenient. Our room is cleaned daily. The rooms are spacious and has a beautiful modern ensuite toilet. The staff, especially Marcelin - the lovely receptionist, are very attentive, kind, friendly and very efficient. I could not recommend enough how lovely their staff are. We also enjoyed our dinner, sumptuous tajine, as we were too lazy to go out. They have a very relaxing rooftop for complimentary breakfast, but you could stay in for an afternoon siesta and cozy dinner.

PolandDoors to the room are wooden and thin, so some noises from within the riad can be heard, especially in the morning when other guests leave their rooms. The neighboring garden is being renovated, so there is some noise coming from there, too.
A beautifully renovated riad, located in Marrakech medina, but relatively easily accessible. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and air-conditioned, with modern bathrooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It has a nice rooftop where breakfasts are served.

NetherlandsThe light at the room was white and not enough which we didn’t like. Some warmer and more light would give a nicer vibe to the room.
Very beautiful Riad with nicely decorated rooms. The staff were very friendly and welcoming (Abdellah and the other guy that I forgot his name. They even prepared the breakfast for us very early on our departure day for our convenience. The riad is almost 5 minutes walk from the Souk which is great as you are not constantly in a busy street.
