Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyHowever, we didn’t really feel very welcomed during our stay, which made the experience less warm compared to other places we visited in Morocco. And the location is a bit far from the main attractions, which made it less convenient.
The riad itself was beautiful and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short stay

United StatesIt would have been nice to have my own key into the riad itself for convenience, but that also made it feel more homey which was nice.
I had an amazing experience here! The hosts were so generous and thoughtful. The Riad is beautiful and my stay was very comfortable. Great amenities and outstanding service.

AustriaVery friendly helpful people available 24 hours a day. Always willing to help with any question you might have. They helped us organise a very beautiful and interesting holiday. The place is located very close to the Medina (10 minute walk) but surprisingly quiet - when we came back it was always a place to rest a relax. For getting picked up for excursion it is much better than places closer to the market as the driver can stop easily at Bab Ghmat Gate. What we also liked very much was the beautiful rooftop terrace with very comfortable furniture - a nice and quiet place to stay.

United KingdomWe had a wonderful two nights stay at Riad Davina. Our host was incredible and went above and beyond for us, looking after our luggage after we had checked out and even ordering a taxi for us to the airport. Our room was perfect and it had the most beautiful shower which we loved. We also enjoyed the terrace which captured the sounds of the Medina perfectly and provided the best place for lounging in the sun or chilling in the shade.

United KingdomBit of a smell in the bathroom, which is why I suspect they had rubber covers over the sinkholes. Could have done with a table in the bedroom. Maybe a little renovation would make some areas feel less faded, such as the rooftop. I also would have liked to use the pool but the water looked a bit stagnant like it had been sitting there for a while, so it was more like a water feature than a usable pool. However, given the price of the room these are small complaints.
Charming old riad with a faded glory feel. Kinda like the Best Marigold Hotel but without Judi Dench! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room is a good size with air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom looked beautiful. The old furniture is a nice touch. This riad is well out of the tourist part of town and in a local area. So much so that I would get stared at as I walked around, which I can understand. This means that I went to very local places to eat and didn't pay through the nose. Excellent if you are looking for a more authentic experience.

United KingdomNothing. Just be aware that you are in Marrakesh, and thing may look unfamiliar or scary at first, but there is nothing to fear, you and your belongings are safe
The riad was in a nice central location, just off a main street in a smaller alley. The outside of the Riad may look at first surprising to europeans, with street kids playing, clearly a bit cheaper area than flashy hotels, but rest assured it was very safe and everyone around are friendly and helpful. The staff and owner provided exceptional service, Said was our night caretaker, he was so friendly and lovely, he surprised our friend who had a birthday with a yummy cake, drinks, balloons, sparkles and decoration in the rooftoop morrocan garden. Helped us with information about everything in Marrakesh for our first time visit in the country, helped us get good deals, just all around being a great friend. Mohsain was the day caretaker, always available to arrange anything for you from carepacks to earlier check in and breakfast, calling our taxi driver for us etc. Again super ffiendly and helpful. Jose the owner treats his staff well, and goes out of his way to make sure his guests have a great time too, and handles any issues with helpful attitude and kindness. The cleaning lady Hayad also was amazing, she found our lost earring, and cleaned our room, turned down our beds every single day, that I did not except (especially for this price) All in all, this place and all staff were fantastic. Yes you could opt to stay in a standard, all-inc hotel that are exactly the same in every country, but I reccommend you stay in Riad Davina to reall immerse yourself in Marrakesh culture, vibe and people and you will love it more. Said will take excellent care of you, you will feel like you got friends in Said, Mohsan and Jose and you will love it. They provide exactly what is in booking .com facilities listing, a d can arrange so much more if you ask. Also really enjoyed our late night chats with all.

United StatesLike most other riads, this one requires a few minutes' walk from the main street and is located a few units into a neighborhood block; so give yourself an extra minute to locate it the first time. Google maps takes you straight there though, and it is totally worth it!
Charming riad in a central neighborhood where you get a glimpse into every day life for the populace there. The room was comfortable and breakfast was always prompt. The riad is incredibly quiet and the rooftop terrace offers a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. The daily room cleaning was always thorough and they replenished the shampoo and shower gel daily. The staff were welcoming and helpful in answering any questions.

HungaryThe rooms are not very big and the accommodation is not in the nicest area. The old man at the night reception has his own rules. We had some problem, but the management solved them quickly.
The inner courtyard of the riad is very nice, the host offered us tea and cake, he was very kind. Breakfast was the same every day, but hearty, delicious and fresh. The building has a roof terrace which is a good place to relax.

RomaniaThere was no shelf or nightstand on one of the sides of the bed and 1 of the 2 sockets in the room wasn't working, good thing that there was another socket in the bathroom.
The room had an air conditioning in the room and a heater in the bathroom, so during the december nights it wasn't cold inside. The bed was confortable, there was hot water in the shower at any given time and the breakfast was tasty. The owner was nice and welcoming.
