Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

NetherlandsEverything was so perfect!
First of all, the tranquility of the riad. It was an oasis of peace in the heart of the medina. In the morning, you were awakened by birdsong. It was also incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast served by the lovely lady was magnificent, including once a delicious chocolate cake. My daughters and I were so spoiled by everyone, especially sweet Lubna, ♥️who kept making lovely minttea. Hamsa, who even remembered to print out the flighttickets. Samira, Nouredin, and the lovely ladies in the kitchen. We are so grateful to you all! You all made this wonderful week with my two daughters in the riad and in wonderful Marrakech even more beautiful and special! Thank you for that! ♥️♥️♥️

United StatesI had a wonderful stay at Riad Al Uzza. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making me feel welcome. The location is central and convenient for exploring, yet the rooms are peaceful and tranquil—perfect for relaxing after a day out. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the riad offers great value for the price. As a female traveler, I felt very well taken care of. Thank you Noureddine, Samira, and Lubna!

AustraliaThe location of the Riad was quite difficult to find initially, however after finding our bearings and with some help by some lovely locals, it was an easy find.
The check-in clerk, HAMZA, was absolutely phenomenal! His scientific views and religious insights were something to be marvelled. He gave a phenomenal insight into the Moroccan, social, economic and cultural background, which was deeply insightful for tourists. He also gave a deep analysis of the Moroccan nightlife, and the best places to go to explore the real Morocco. Hamza also had a very deep love and understanding of the local wildlife, particularly the small street cats which I lived outside. We highly recommend having a deep and meaningful conversation with Hamza. He honeslty was the best check in Clerck, we believe that he should get a raise. He is a very good man and host, truely the best man you could ask for, so wise for such a young man. He informed us how to avoid all types of Moroccan scams, which is very helpful. Finally, I'd also like to personally thank the lovely cleaning staff for their care and kindness.

SwitzerlandWe wasn’t able to sleep the second night due to a fight in the house next to the Hotel. The staff was very friendly and gave us an other room. The entrance of the Hotel was full of garbage and not very clean, I don’t think that it is the hotels fault but it would be good to take some actions.
The Riad was very nice. The staff very friendly and the location good.

United KingdomEverything about our stay was perfect! As soon as we arrived Hamza was very welcoming and friendly, and talked through where to go, any recommendations etc. The riad is so peaceful despite being in an amazing location; about 5 minutes to the centre/taxis. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean, and well looked after throughout our stay. The bed was so comfy too. Breakfast was really good and varied each day, plenty for two of us. Everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would also recommend the airport transfer as it would’ve been quite tricky to navigate the streets at first, though we quickly got used to it.

United KingdomOur room was on the ground floor right next to reception so we did get woken up by people checking out. Not sure what they could have done about this, just unlucky with the room.
Super friendly staff. Loved the decor and the location was great. Feel like it was a bargain, especially with breakfast included.

United KingdomA few things to note. Breakfast is lovely, but mostly bread/cakes and fruit unless you request eggs, which we did. No alcohol is served. At the time of booking, the website included an alcohol menu, and their social media (at the time of writing) still gives the impression that cocktails and wine are served. This was disappointing as we were looking forward to a cocktail at sunset, but overall not a major issue. There was a change of manager the day before we checked out, and unfortunately the new manager was very unwelcoming, unfriendly and at times quite rude. He began questioning payments, even though nothing was due until the following day and my card had already been held as security. This created unnecessary tension during the final part of our stay, which was a shame after such a lovely experience with the rest of the team.
We were a group of 7 and really enjoyed our stay at Riad Al Uzza. The location is fantastic and the riad itself is beautiful and very clean. The staff were mostly wonderful. Moad, the manager for most of our stay, was exceptional! He was warm, helpful and made us feel at home. He helped with escorting us to our restaurant on our first night, transport and even went out to get eggs when we asked for them at breakfast. Always with a warm and friendly smile and great conversation. The housekeeping staff were also fantastic, especially Loubna who looked after all of us with genuine warmth. She made a special effort when I wasn’t feeling well, bringing me mint tea and food and checking in to see how I was doing. Thank you Loubna.

United StatesGreat location, nice staff. They do not always serve eggs at breakfast so you end up with a lot of bread and fruit. Our room was on the first floor (the only one left) so it was noisy from the staff talking and guests. Small but comfy room. Nice roof deck.

United KingdomIt was pretty perfect!
This is a fantastic Riad buried deep in the Medina - don't be put off by the circuitous walk there, it's definitely worth it. It's a good idea to get the organised airport transfer, a little bit more expensive than a regular taxi, but you are met by a porter who guides you through the narrow streets to the Riad. The staff are super friendly, especially Hamza who met us when we arrived. Our room was spacious and very clean. There was a double shower and masses of hot water. It wasn't that hot in Marrakech during our visit but there is both a/c and a fan for when it heats up. The big double bed was very comfortable and our 14 year old says his single was too. We had breakfast on the roof and it was delicious: pancakes, lovely warm bread, honey and jam, omelettes and parathas. There is a sweet little swimming pool and endless offers of fresh mint tea. The medina is very full on but Riad Al Uzza is an island of calm amongst all the noise. My wife also had a spa treatment and really enjoyed it - it was reasonable too. We really recommend Riad Al Uzza. We had a wonderful four days here.

United KingdomThe location is difficult to find. I wished there is a signboard at the main alley to guide us towards the riad. Nevertheless, Hamza did offer his number to call if you could not locate the place. There is a spot in the room that gives a very pungent smell like an old damp socks. It was the shelve near the bathroom and i have a feeling someone might have left their smelly socks there and the smell stick. The carpet is very worn off should make the effort to wash it maybe monthly? We removed our shoes before entering but still could feel the floor is a little dusty but understandably- its old type of rusty floor so this is expected.
The common area is very cosy, the breakfast spread is lovely and delicious I enjoyed it and looked forward for it everyday. The room is spacious. The staffs (Hamza and Loubna) are very helpful and warmth. Loubna has helped to decorate the room for our anniversary getaway and she did a great job! water, coffee or tea are provided

AustraliaExcellent all round
We booked this last minute and had a lovely stay. The Riad is at the end of a laneway and you'd never find it if you didn't know it. But to get there is safe and the place is a little hidden gem. Newly refurbished, in beautiful Morrocan style. Lovely breakfast which you can take in courtyard or on rooftop

United KingdomNothing to complain about at all.
We stayed in a a superior Double room on the ground floor. The whole riad was very clean and bright. We were initially concerned being on the ground floor but there was no issues with privacy and the riad is very quiet. The windows are mirrored so no one can see in if they walk past. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, yet characterful. Simple. Plain, neutral with some hints of colours with coloured tiles. Best bathroom during our Moroccan trip, staying in 4 different hotels. The location was down a winding alley, in the west of Marrakech. We read some reviews about the alleyway to the hotel being dangerous with trip hazards.. We did not feel that at all. We found Marrakech safe everywhere, and the alleyways were well lit, and easy to navigate. The roof top was very nice. We had our breakfasts on the roof. I celebrated my 50th birthday whilst staying there and the staff gave me a small slice of cake and a candle for breakfast! I have never had a birthday cake for breakfast before.. They write a lovely message for me too and left it in the room. All in all a wonderful stay.
