Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomMidgets in the bedding. And lot of dust from the wooden ceiling constantly falling down on to clothes and bedding mainly due to the it being a wooden room.

SwitzerlandLocated close to the big market place but just 300m away in a small and calm street of the medina. We had a super friendly welcome at this Riad with Marrician tea served, although we were too early to check in the room. We were allowed to let our luggage there, so we could already go to discover Marrakech. Same for our late departure. The room and bathroom is clean and cosy in Marrocian style. The bed is super comfortable. For breakfast we were spoiled as well with different kind of bread, fresh orange juice, fruits, joghurts and egg. Perfect!

United KingdomNothing - it's a Riad, not a modern hotel and that's why we chose it!
We loved the location, close to so much without being noisy. There were so many lovely old Moroccan features in the Riad, especially the front door! Delicious breakfast and really friendly helpful staff too.

This hidden gem of a Riad, is situated just off the busy square. Once inside, the quiet, tranquil setting of this Riad would have you believe you were outside the city. Its location is perfect for exploring old Marrakesh, with unlimited amount of great restaurants and markets galore all around you. Staff here were amazing. Always on hand to help and advise. Breakfast was laid every morning with fresh OJ, coffee and tea, local breads, fruit, yogurts, eggs and cheese. A great start to the day. The roof top terrace was the perfect setting to sip a G&T whilst watching the sunset. NB take your own alcohol as it’s a dry hotel. Soft drinks, ice etc are available in the Riad. I’d like to say a huge thank you for the beautiful roses left in my room on my birthday. A superb touch to a fantastic stay. Highly recommend.

United KingdomWe thought the riad had a bar, but it didn't. However, the staff were accommodating once we'd made a visit to Carrefour supermarket with a corkscrew and glasses.
We had a wonderful stay. Fantastic location, really close to the main square, but an oasis of calm once in the riad. We prebooked dinner at the riad twice as we enjoyed the food so much. It was nice to have some authentic Moroccan food cooked by one of the staff members who was taught by his mother. The riad had a lovely chilled vibe, and we enjoyed reading our books on the roof garden listening to the sounds of the city.

United KingdomNothing. This is a small traditional riad and has the authentic quirks of a riad that are all part of the adventure!
Our stay here was a truly pleasurable Marrakech experience. The location is perfect: just off the main market square, safe and easy to get to and not noisy. The riad is beautifully decorated and is a real oasis. The staff are lovely, attentive and easy to communicate with. I really enjoyed the breakfast: delicious breads!

United KingdomNo kettle or tea making facility in bedroom (2nd floor). Many steps and no lift, make it a bit of a struggle for the elderly. I managed though !
Good continental style breakfast with fruit, breads, cake, cheese, hard-boiled egg, fresh orange juice, coffee etc. Delightful, spacious room overlooking pool. Comfortable beds. Rooftop seating, sunbathing, with distant view of Atlas mountains, also welcome. Good location, close to the big square, and various transport options.

United KingdomThere were a lot of steep stairs but it was good for our legs! After a days walking it could be unsuitable for some.
Exquisite decor. Quiet and peaceful. Only three rooms. Delicious dinner with 24 hrs notice. Adults only. WiFi Very courteous and empathetic staff. Organised cart to take our cases to meeting point. Syed made our stay terrific. Having dinner by the pool as the only guests eating that night made us feel like royalty. The artefacts, craftsmanship and decor was genuine, antique, indigenous and created by local artists. Even the shower was hewn out of plaster with stunning tiles/ carvings and a brass antique sink. The roof terrace looked over the Koutabia and the sofas by the pool where there was internet made a lovely place to rest. We also had our own seating area outside our room where the trees from around the pool shaded the sun. Two love doves could be seen on the branches. The pool had a waterfall and exquisite tiling set in a beautiful courtyard.

IrelandThe room was cozy but water flow in the shower was quite slow. This could be due local water shortages so its understandable but it did make showering a bit less enjoyable. However, everything else about the stay made up for this small inconvenience.
The guesthouse features beautiful courtyard and room adorned with local art and antiques. we enjoyed freshly prepared breakfast and roof terrace, offering a peaceful retreat after exploring the city's vibrant streets. Great location within the medina.Staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help.

United KingdomWe went in January, so remember that it will be cold in the morning and at night. Bring an extra layer.
I can’t rate this Riad highly enough. They arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport, met the taxi and took us to the Riad which was perfect, down a safe back alley and away from the bustling crowds. We went through a big wooden door which opened up into the Riad. The staff were welcoming and made us traditional tea whilst we sorted out the usual paperwork and the took us to our room upstairs. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, as was the rest of the building. There is a rooftop terrace that looks over the city. Breakfasts were traditional with breads, cakes, jams and fruit. Also amazing coffee and mint tea. Staff at all times were helpful with queries and the best places to go. If I come back to Marrakech I’d stay here again.
