Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyWe had the triple room, it was spotted clean and really confortable. There was AC as well. The Rihad was reay quiet and the team working there was really nice and helpful. The surroudings can be a bit off putting as it’s in area a bit far from the Medina but once you learn the road it’s easy to reach, by feet and car as well. I would suggest to contact them on arrival as they can pick you up from the main gate and show you the road.

United KingdomOur room was a downstairs room so when people were outside on the courtyard we could hear everything which was a bit annoying when trying to sleep or in the mornings but it wasn’t that bad.
Everyone working were super accommodating and helped with whatever we needed. The accommodation looks just like the photos and was so pretty! It’s a bit of a maze to get to but we found it fine. It’s close to the markets too so it wasn’t too far to walk.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe only flaw about the place would be location, as it’s located in residential area, between narrow streets, but we were aware of that when placing the booking and I have to say that we actually liked the location. It might look unpleasant and unsafe as there’s no any services, but it’s actually quite safe, you’ll meet residents and lot of kids on streets even at the late hours, they’re friendly and willing to help you to find your location (especially kids, expecting tips). It takes 15-20 minutes by walking to main square in medina. It could be tricky to find the exact location at first, but staff members will wait for you upon your arrival and show you the streets, and they would accompany you to the main street and wait for you there if you need it later too. We were able to find it on our own since first time coming back from the city so it’s wasn’t a problem for us at all.
The Riad Amour is such a beautiful place to stay. Its beautiful interiors, right down to tiny details, are accompanied by a peaceful atmosphere. We loved our room and wished we had more time to spend it in Riad. Staff members are so kind, welcoming and friendly, available all the time.

EstoniaThe best thing about the riad was that it was exactly as promised (both in pictures and text). It is in excellent condition, private, and well-designed. The rooftop was wonderful for sunbathing (which we made good use of), while the lower levels stayed pleasantly cool. We really enjoyed our breakfasts in the courtyard, accompanied by birds chirping in the background. The room was small, but that’s what we paid for—I would say you get a good amount of quality for your money. The riad is about a 20-minute walk from the main square, but I see this as a positive, as it allowed us to experience the everyday life of locals and explore areas that are not as touristy as the center of the medina. We loved wandering through the streets and never felt uncomfortable or unsafe, even after dark. The staff was very helpful and always present. They guided us in the beginning to help us find our way in the medina and assisted with any questions we had.

ItalyI absolutely loved this Riad, definitely the most beautiful one we’ve been during our 12 days holiday in Morocco. The property is very modern, everything is so aesthetic, it’s a very welcoming Riad. Loved all the details and decorations! All staff went above and beyond to accomodate myself and my family during our 4 days in Marrakesh. They helped us multiple times to reach the main square and showed us the way as Marrakesh’s streets are a maze. They’ve always been helpful and available for anything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic, everything home made and delicious! The chef of the Riad is honestly superior. We booked a fine dining experience in the Riad for our first night in Marrakesh, one of the best Moroccan dinner we had. The experience was fantastic, we had the whole patio for ourself, all lighted up with candles… it has been a magical welcoming to Morocco. We’ve felt home for the past 4 days, the staff has honestly been super friendly and welcoming! Thanks ♥️

FranceIt is indeed poorly located but also poorly indicated. I don’t understand why there aren’t signs on the walls that indicate the directions of the riad. Is it a secret riad or something? Why is it hidden? The location itself can be quite scary due to the fact it’s in a less touristy and more popular zone, with a lack of commerce and mainly groups of men or kids hanging out around. There are also kids and people offering to guide you and then aggressively asking you for money. There is no reception like in other riads/hotels, hence nobody to welcome you, giving you tips or showing a reassuring presence. The Italian phone number which is linked to the riad on booking was also unresponsive upon arrival and I was lucky to have a very nice taxi driver who took me to the riad after asking some inhabitants of the district. It seems like the owners of the riad are in Italy and couldn’t care less about the guests and what is going on there. Again very thankful for the lovely staff who helped balancing this all out.
The riad is tastefully decorated, the rooms are true to the pictures and the beds were super comfortable. The heater worked well so we were cozy at night. The terrasse is great, offering some nice sunbathing and the main area where we have breakfast is also cute. The staff was very friendly.
