How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewI spent four unforgettable nights at Riad Andolib, and it was one of the highlights of my trip. The riad is beautifully designed with authentic Moroccan details, a calm atmosphere, and spotless, comfortable rooms that made me feel instantly at home. What truly sets Riad Andolib apart is the exceptional hospitality. Mr. Riebel, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every part of our stay went smoothly. His warmth and generosity gave the riad a very personal and relaxed feel. Emar was kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything i needed, whether it was advice about the city or making sure I was comfortable. Omar also provided excellent service with a friendly and professional attitude that made me feel truly cared for. Each morning, i were treated to a delicious breakfast in the peaceful courtyard — the perfect start to my day in the medina. The location is perfect and ideal for exploring yet it feels like a tranquil retreat from the bustle of the city. I highly recommend Riad Andolib to anyone visiting fez. A heartfelt thank-you to Mr. Riebel, Emar, and Omar for making my stay so special. I will definitely return on my next visit.

Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay here in this incredibly beautiful Riad. It has been beautifully refurbished by the owner. The location was perfect. We could escape the frenetic activity of the Medina to a peaceful oasis just outside the Medina. The Medina itself is a two minute walk away so we felt right in the heart of things. Reibal was an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble him. He gave us lots of information to navigate the Medina and he really seemed to care about our experience. The food at Riad Andalib was also some of the best we tasted in Fez.
We adored all of it we would not change a thing. We would love to return and we would stay there again.

Verified reviewRiad Andalib is a very well run property in an excellent location. The owner, Reibal and his very capable staff took very good care of their guests. Reibal is a wealth of knowledge and is an excellent source of information on how to navigate your way around Fes. We had dinner there one night and the food was amazing, perhaps the best couscous with lamb dish I’ve had in Morocco. The breakfast was quite generous and tasty. Twice I had to skip lunch since I was so full from eating breakfast. We stayed in a junior suite room on the top floor. The room was quite luxurious and impeccably clean.

Verified reviewWhile having been to more than 30 countries, this was the most hospitable and best experience we have ever had in a hotel. They treat you like a family member. We were instructed all the nuances of Fes, given a great itinerary and enjoyed our time in this small but authentic city. Riad is located in an excellent place, right on the street, close to all the attractions.

Verified reviewThe property is the best place I stayed in Morocco so far. The host Reibal and his team Omar and Imane would do anything to make you feel at home. It is a family place converted to hospitality in its quintessence . I never experienced something this precise on beauty in all the ways. It’s so clean, the rooms are so beautifully curated in the Medina but with an easy access to cars … it’s very calm an oasis when you are inside you feel and see beauty everywhere! The food is homemade by a local chef that you can order and eat the real taste authentic from Morocco like anywhere else. Fes is a gem in beauty and history to explore … the sunrise and sunset on the terrasse are blow minded ! Thank you to Reibal for being an host full of generosity and kindness ⭐️ I’m so in awe with Andalib 🙏🏽 thank you

Verified reviewWonderful riad, perfectly located and above all with an incredible staff—warm, friendly, attentive, and truly caring. The owner welcomed us with tea and biscuits and took the time to explain how to navigate the medina, what to see, and even shared some fascinating insights into the history of Fes. He gave us some tips about everything. Without a doubt, the best service one could ask for. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent and generous. The riad is also a very good restaurant for dinner. There’s a private (paid) parking lot nearby. Everything was perfect—we truly recommend this place.

Verified reviewThey have amazing team and great hospitality. Perfect location where is the exact end of the famous old markets and you can easily access with a taxi which may not be possible for all roads in the region. The owner provided the best ever introduction of the city at the checking.
Their chairs were not very comfortable at the dining area for a person like me who has a back pain problem. I didn’t complain but I’m sure they would find a solution if I asked them. I would prefer one king sized bed instead of two small double beds.

Verified reviewThe location is perfect. The taxis can drop you right in front of the riad so you don’t have to walk with your luggage. You can also walk to all the main spots to visit. The riad is very beautiful and the room was spacious. The host made us feel right at home, explained to us the main things to visit and told us about the history of Fez. I’m happy we didn’t book a tour for this city. The breakfast was excellent and they accommodated us when we had an early tour for Chefchaouen and served breakfast earlier just for us. The people from the riad always helped us get a taxi for where we wanted to go and negotiated with the drivers a local price to make sure we don’t pay more than we should. We had been to Rabat and Marrakech and stayed in riads, but by far this riad in Fez was our best riad experience. The host was very kind to us. The wifi was very good too.

Verified reviewOur stay at Riad Andalib was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and Moroccan hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. This beautiful riad is a true gem in the heart of Fes — elegant, impeccably maintained, and full of charm. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with traditional touches that reflect the soul of Morocco. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and we especially appreciated the comfort of the beds and the peaceful ambiance throughout the riad. But what truly sets Riad Andalib apart is the exceptional service. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect — offering helpful tips, arranging transportation, and sharing insights about the city that made our experience even more meaningful. Fes is a magical city, and staying at Riad Andalib made it even more special. It was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had — we wholeheartedly recommend it and would return in a heartbeat!

Verified reviewThis Riad is stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice. My room was fabulous and the food was lovely! This is hands down the best service I have received in any establishment I’ve ever stayed and I’ve visited more than 40 countries. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave everything is taken care of. Ribar tells you everything you need to know about the must do and see in Fes. Omar, Iman and Mehdi cater to your every need. I would absolutely recommend this without hesitation and I’m already planning my next trip.

Verified reviewThe staff and owner were extremely kind and friendly!!! The location was perfect for the medina, just a walk across the street and 3 blocks down. The owner explained everything to us and even helped educate us about how to not get cheated out of money and if you don't want to engage with anyone not to speak. I wish I would have had this information for the other cities I went to before Fez. The room was sooo large and the bed was extremely comfortable. I slept like a baby!! The breakfasts were large and extremely good and we had dinner here as well and was happy we did.
The restaurants near by the riad are not great and you would need a driver to get you to a place to eat. However there are new places opening it looks like to eat at.

Verified reviewAbsolutely the best stay of our holiday! We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Reibal. He shared the history of Fez with us and gave great tips on how to best explore the city. The staff was always available to help us throughout the day. We were able to enjoy our time in Fez without a worry. The architecture of this riad is impressive. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. We were traveling with our 10-month-old baby and really appreciated the availability of a babychair and a cot. The location is easy to find and well situated for visiting the city center. I can recommend this stay to everyone, and we hope to return in the future.
