The breakfast could’ve been better. Mostly the ambience and setting for breakfast. But it was still OK for the price.

Nice property. The accommodations fit very well for our group of seven. We had an area of the hotel with four rooms, adjoining a single shared courtyard. We rolled in during a sandstorm, and then it rained, creating mud. So our stay may have been a bit unusual. The staff was very friendly.

I am a cyclist and was planning to head towards the Sahara Desert. The hotel staff provided me with a lot of information about the desert—they were extremely kind. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful, and there is also a pool. For this price, the quality of the interior is truly amazing. Of course, the rooms are also clean and quite spacious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to experience an authentic riad at an affordable price. Thank you so much!!

For transparency, we paid 460€ for a jeep transfer to Tagounite for two people with one night in a desert camp near Erg Chigaga (with a camel ride) identical to many that are bookable directly on this website. We met people that paid less than half for the same thing.

Nice large rooms, clean sheets, nice shower, and amazing food. Really a great accommodation at a reasonable price. Brand new pool. Aziz is really easy to communicate with as he is fluent in English and French.

I think this was one of the dirtest place I stayed in Marocco. Bathroom needs a deep clean.A lot of dust everywhere. Window to the patio is not properly covered, so there is an issue with the privacy.

I had accidentally booked for a later day and Aziz adjusted the date immediately when I arrived. He also personally made sure the air-conditioning worked, that my vehicle was parked safely, and recommended restaurants in the town. I also, like in most Moroccan settlements, liked the atmosphere and friendly, uncomplicated interactions with the residents. The pool was great for cooling down.

Lovely staff. Served us beer which was well received. Lovely courtyard to relax in at the the end of a hard day's riding. Evening meal was very nice. The manager had an open air garage with lock for our bikes.

An overall atmosphere of calm - an oasis within an oasis. The courtyard and surrounding rooms (with wonderful crisp white sheets), carpets, dappled shade, and overall look is just right. Salute to whoever conceived and delivered this special place! And also extra special fig jam for breakfast.

Riad Assia is in a tastefully renovated original building with central atrium great for relaxing. Our room was facing the atrium, clean, with comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful personnel speaking also English.
